What did you use the RC8's in? I found them way to aggressive at Oulton In Feb on my stripped 182, the inside just kept locking up with moderate force, hopefully it was due to the cold (dampish) track, worn R888's and lighter on the NS. Gonna give them ago again at Aintree on Saturday with new...
Its a tough one as the CL6E do have a better coefficient (more grip) but if used when cold they wear really fast, they need to be up to temp to be long lasting, so if yours is used on road then its a no, no. The DS1.11 seem to get very good reviews on here and elsewhere so I'd probably give them...
That's about right mate, CL are similar unless you get the CL6E which are endurance pads. Ferodo DS1.11 are another which will last longer as well. TBH the DS2500's are a bit meh anyway so you may want to upgrade to one of the above as they'll last longer and give much better braking.
I owned an ep3 for 5 years and they aren't as good as the Clio, stick with what you've got or sell and get something a bit bigger maybe TC'd like a Meg...
You'll be needing a dished wheel mate, brings the wheel closer to you and feels infinity better over the standard gash set up. I use a OMP WRC wheel and its perfect for me at 350mm.
I'd love to get a diff but with the cost of purchasing the diff, having the box rebuilt and diff fitted, and delivery costs of the box to and from the fitter, not to mention having the box taken out and refitted you wouldn't have much change from £2k...
Baited one of these of the lights this morning just so I could see and hear it go, lots of popping and farting even just driving normally. Would do my nut in hearing that all the time, or does it only do that in sport mode? Could have been modded as it looked chavved up compared to the OP's.
You've got a reference now though so a few clicks back at a time now and you'll be sorted. Looks very quick though and once set up will be a monster.
What tracks will it be attending?
Defo sounds abs ring related, if yours is cup packed suspension then they should have the wider rings on, and going off those pics it seems that way. You can fit the narrow rings on a cup but you need to align them under the sensor.
My advice replaced both rings as a visual inspection doesn't...
