I've got the Clubsport XL mate, size wise id say if you are under a 36" waist and less than 6ft then go with the standard size. I'm 6ft with a 34-36" waist and 14st and its just a tad to wide for me, but I have quite narrow hips, whereas my pal who is 18st, 6ft and a 40" waist fits in them as...
Go with @JON FOZ x-low subframes mate, much lower. With OMP frames and sliders it won't be any lower really. Make sure you take the plastic spacers out as well. The R100 is an entry level recliner but would be better than the OE seats for sure.
You don't want a half cage with rear seats in anyway as its far to dangerous for rear passengers, so its either full interior with no cage or rear seats out and half cage. And even with a rear cage I wouldn't be running standard seats and belts as in a big accident if you were to roll your head...
Just make sure you have sufficient padding, especially around the head area as in a crash on the road it could do more harm than good. Presume you'll also be running seats and harnesses?
I'm so tempted by the Bc's but I just don't know if I can justify them for a car I drive 5-6 times a year. I know they'll be great but it's just money sat there doing nothing 98% of the time for me.
@Niall how much quicker was you over OE dampers and lowering springs at Oulton?
Are they only 200 yeah, thought they'd be much lower than that. The R1R's are 140. In contrast to a proper track day tyre the Avon ZZS I used at Blyton on Saturday were 20, lol.
Wouldn't bother with anything track orientated as contrary to what people say, they aren't that good in the wet. Toyo R1R's are a great tyre, speak with @imprezaworks as he has a nearly new set for sale...cheap!
I wouldn't be purchasing the OMP frames personally as they need spacers to sit level and are not much lower than the OE position which is horrendous, look at getting some JonFoz X-Low frames with runners from JCC rally on eBay as they're half the price of the OMP ones. You'll also be needing...
I did have a moment as well were the blue MG slowed for me to pass on the straight but not enough and left me no room coming into the double right hander pushing me out to the outside of the track on the gravel, nothing major just a misjudgement of mine and their own speed. Compared to an open...
It wouldn't have helped that he was eating Cadburys fruit and nut, as well as onion rings in his tent before sleeping. I could hear you all laughing at him munching away, then laughing again when he started snoring, lol.
£120 to fit a decat...and badly at that, wow! I'd be demanding my money back and the cost to have it rectified at another garage. It took me 20 minutes to fit my decat and that was on axel stands, robbing bstards!
Hell yeah to a snoring zone, my mate was at it all fu*king night. I had ear buds in but could still hear and feel the vibrations he was that loud, I had a couple of hours sleep all Friday night and the end I just got up at 4am. Saturday I download an app that gave off white noise and slept with...
I let you come past me in the afternoon session just to see your car over a few laps and on the straights it was crazily quick, and in the corners the rears where lighting up on every single corner, it was brilliant to watch. I thought I'd caught it all on my in-car camera but it didn't record...
I was using race chrono on my note 4, I just secured it in the glovebox, gives good data tbf and its Free. If you pay for it you can video from your phone and it overlays the data, like Harry's lap timer.
Yeah could tell you where on coilovers by just how flat and fast you where taking that 90 degree right hander where people were spectating, I was on similar mods bar the coilovers and using Avon ZZS on the front and 888s on the rear, like yourself the Avon's were far to soft and kept over...
