Great read mate, cant believe it took you 20+ track days to realise that the Audi was not really an appropriate track car, bet it cost an absolute fortune in consumables.

I'd start with front camber at the max you can achieve on bolts and your coilovers, and toe around -0.12 (toe out) then bushes for the rear beam and inner and outer front arb, as well as steering rack bushes. Maybe some better pads unless you're happy with the 2500's? Camber shims will make a...
I've ran the system dry twice now changing the abs pump, and both times managed to get the air out the system by going out and firing the abs on grass, returning and re-bleeding, took around 2-3 re-bleeds each time but does work, but as above it's a painful laborious task.
I wouldn't get a show cage, if track driving or any driving for that matter as in a big accident they could potentially be more harmful than helpful. Don't budget on safety equipment.
Mine does it mate if I don't heel and toe matching the revs on down shift into 3rd, mine also does it on up shifts and to combat this I keep my foot on the gas slightly, not great on the clutch as it rides slightly but doesn't crunch on fast changes. If like mine your gear box is due a rebuild.
No worries mate, wanted to burn these out myself at Blyton in the AM then put the new Avons on for the PM, but looks like i'll have to get the Avons fitted before now that the tyre guy isn't attending Saturday.
I should have legal tread left on my front track wheels mate as I'm fitting new tyres to them, so you can use them to drive home and pass me them back once you've got tyres fitted to yours.
Suppose it would be OK if the belts had been done recently, I'd personally hold out for a 172 cup or 182 FF if I had £2k to spend. Also ask what brand the coilovers are, if budget like v-max or similar ask for money off as they're gash and would need replacing with OE or a better brand.
Get yourself a F-super diagnostic tool from ebay, paid around £12 for mine and its brilliant. They're the same as what Ford use to run diagnostics but rip off versions and a quarter of the price of a single session from Ford.
Very interested, been searching high and low for a tyre centre nearby but they're just not local enough to get there and back without missing dinner or track time.
