How much engine coolant is needed for a full system change on a 172? i went to renault today to get some type D coolant and they give me a 5 litre bottle, i asked if that was enough and he said yeah it will be fine, but im sure i read on here somewhere that it takes about 10 litres to...
I had the same with Bell a year or so back, i had a non fault accident, someone went into the back of my vxr, when renewal came through it went up from last year and they said it was because im more likely to have an accident, wtf surely thats the other way round, i asked where they got this...

Ferodo ds2500 are really good brake pads, you can track them easily and they wont burn out, b - roads will be a doddle to them, and yes there far better them oem renault ones, do a search on here mate, loads of people track with them and they have no problems, they last for a long time to

Easy peasy to do, just squeeze the CAF's on the end then pull and they just come out, i fitted my jms setup in about 10min and im useless with cars, and the setup it designed not to work with and CAF's, it just gets its intake from the large open vent on the airbox itself, all you need to...
Vid is not the best but can defo here it is whining alot which is not usual, im not to sure what it could be, but the usual whine could be from the cambelt or dephaser, as for the rotten eggs smell that is normally linked with the cat converter possibly failing
Different springs as the cup has a lower ride height than the 172's, if you want to change them i wouldnt personnally put originals back on, go for a set of ebachi prolines, nearly identical to the original but come with 5 year guarantee and cost £150 for a set of 4, geuine renault spring = £100...
The 172 cup comes in mondial blue, its not just a 182 which comes in blue, depends what you want, do you want purely for a track car or you going to commute in it to? if its purely track car then defo go for a 172 cup (more of a drivers car,) a 182 will be still very good round a track and you...
Sorry what i ment to put is renault mounts are the cheapest ones to get as i dont think there are any aftermarket ones, i didnt mean to say go to renault to buy them ;)
You could use your old one, you shouldnt damage it when taking off the plenum, just give it a clean when putting it back on so you get a good seal again, if you wanted to change them then there about £11 for a set from renault, this includes top and bottom inlet
