Theres a few guides on here i think, do i quick search, i changed mine on my cup a while back, real easy to do, remember to torque the spark plugs up though, and the plugs you want are NGK PRFE-10
Does it all the time from starting up, its only when ive changed the plugs and re sealed the pleum, but after 30sec or so of driving its totally fine, its idles perfectly
I had the inlet off when changing the plugs, i used gasket sealant as recommened by Craig off her (APD developments), surely if it was an air leak the revs would rise constantly?

Quick question as i cant seem to find a definate answer, can i fit rear discs to my 172 cup without having the abs ring on them? gonna buy a set of brembos i think which dont come with an abs ring but come with bearings

You need a full cambelt kit, approx £120 and an aux belt only which is about £15, a specialist charge in the region of £300 - £400, plenty of renault specialists on here, and cos its a cup its a bit less of a fiddly job
Lol, well i dont know a massive detail on it but i sort of know the lad who used to own it, he lived in redcar and used to constantly drive around in it ragging the hell out of it!! if i remember correctly it had a different exhaust setup
When i had mine down at rstuning a month ago, mine pulled 162bhp and that with the induction setup and matched inlets, then pulled 172bhp after the remap

Excellent quality aftermarket ones, alot stronger rubber than the crappy renault ones and cheap to :D got one on mine, cant fault it
I would of thought you would of had some common problems if the timing was out mate, idling very rough is the common one, but your figure is on the low side, paul said 172 normally kick out around the 160bhp mark
