Yes mate it is, Saturday 7th. Not entered yet, but will do shortly. I'll be there regardless as @paulrs4 and a few others are racing even if I'm not.

Been at TDi North in Warrington today to have the car mapped.
Car behaved itself, all done and sorted. No issues shown up and it made good numbers so I'm pleased.
Some new stickers turned up as well so got them put on, nothing major, just my Facebook address and another TDi North sticker on...
Good question, it might fit, but it'll be tight on the filter + make access a pain. The throttle body back plate is drilled off centre for bonnet clearance but pushes the plate/filter into the alternator so I need to get sinew back plate and drill it in the centre, the slam panel wouldn't clear...
Cars getting mapped on Wednesday this week so took it to the workshop tonight.
Spanner checked and torqued everything, refitted the front arb, adjusted the exhaust and bled the brakes.
All done, made myself a new bonnet/boot prop as I've given my other one away with one of my other cars...
Had it outside on its wheels.
Ran it up to temp and let it idle for a while to check it over as much as I could. Got the coolant system bled as I was struggling the other night so changed the stat even though it was new and appeared to be working for the boiling kettle test! Might have been...
Thanks mate.
Think I've mentioned it already but the linkage is the same setup I've run previously so I know it works fine, the throttle cable is run different to most and didn't want to change that + the Jenvey linkage has a return spring built in where the pure one doesn't.
Russ
Nearly there! Got pretty much everything done tonight that I wanted apart from starting it as it was a bit late for doing that tonight.
Finally the correct part turned up from Jenvey
Got that fitted and all the throttle bodies put back together, took ages to get the linkage all setup in the...
Good news and bad news from yesterday! Good news is ordered the correct part from Jenvey (hopefully) also got my hubs etc back from plating. Bad news is I've got the wrong wheel bearings to go back in them! Correct ones will
Be here today and pressed in.
Hubs
Other bits plated.
Got...
Yeah kind of, ordered a new lever as they call it, they didn't tell me they were handed so they've just assumed and sent me a left hand one instead of a right hand one.
Russ
We're getting there, car is pretty much done apart from waiting on a few bits. My hubs are still getting plated even though I was promised them back last week. Fingers crossed I'll have them tomorrow along with a minor throttle linkage part I'm waiting on from Jenvey. Rear caliper is still to do...
After loosing the circlip and bush at cadwell and hence all gears in quali years ago I've run it like this ever since.
Re. The oil cooler see the pic further up the page, it's just bolted directly to the underside of the front bumper bar.
Russ
Plan for now is to get it mapped and possibly a test a croft and try to push for an entry in cscc tintops at Oulton at the start of october. As far as next year goes I'm not sure yet, all depends on houses.
Russ
All the existing windows were P4P but I thought I'd see what ACW were like for the new fronts as they're literally just flat sheets. They seem decent quality and fit well anyway.
Russ
Got some more bits done today. Got the oil cooler and radiator mounted, radiator hoses all refitted. Oil catch tank and hose refitted. Gear linkage connected up with new bush and circlip fitted + patented dab of silicone over the circlip to stop it falling out!
Got the exhaust fitted too, may...
Getting there. Subframe on, wishbones on with new bearings.
Been sent the wrong arb inner bushes so I can't fit that until they arrive this week.
Got the water pump fitted and new coil pack and then started putting it all in the car.
Still have the gear linkage to connect, radiator...
Well some shiny bits arrived today.
Pms 48mm throttle bodies, pms single box exhaust system, pms exhaust manifold, pms solid engine mounts, pms billet flywheel and Sachs racing paddle clutch kit. New battery and battery cut off, electronic extinguisher kit, new front door windows and rain...
Can check my spare set of standard cams if I have some lying around for numbers on them. Doubt 240 is the duration though, sure a standard exhaust cam is around 256 degrees.
