Ah ok thanks mate. Knew there was something about the 2005+ ones as I remember a post about it. The £100 is a lot of money for an adapter, makes me think its not worth the hassle to change it as I have managed 2 years with it so far. Thanks Brian and Daz :)

About 25ish when doing a trackday. Its near impossible to get it until 20 unless you bounce it off the limiter for about 5 years (standard car).

No GFX card sadly, onboard only. Apparently its a common problem with eMachines on that type of PC but the fix I read about (getting a new Mobo) doesn't appear to have worked.

Forgot to mention, already tried another hard drive even though I knew it wouldn't be that. Could the RAM/Processor be blowing the Mobo?

Are you talking about the Battlefield series of games? If so, I think its just multiplayer in general. A few of us stay after work every few weeks to play BF2 and we experience a similar problem on our corperate network.
