Pulled up into work Friday morning, jumped in car after work, turned the key and absolutely nothing. Engine wouldn’t crank. Ran a diagnostic and got this.

Hmm there’s still a fair amount of poly bushing going on for a road car though. And I tried Grams and Cooksport with Cup dampers before returning to Cup springs. I just found the car never really worked properly with aftermarket kit.
On saying that my ARB bushes are also Strongflex but the ride...
I’m using genuine wishbones on my daily with Lemforder ball joints and they’re fine. I’ve also got Yellow series Strongflex bushes which are an upgrade over OEM but don’t cause any harshness to the ride. I’ve done 25,000 road miles on them in the last 2 years.

Last bits done on the track car today. Overhauled the brakes with new calipers, pads and discs. Upgraded the geometry pins and gave everything a final check over before Croft in a few weeks.
Put a shift in on Sunday doing final prep on the track car.
New plugs, injectors, new radiator, auxiliary belt and a general clean up of the engine and components.
The adjuster on the cup bracket was also bent and the nut had cross threaded so fixed that at the same time.

I was offered an RB recently but i felt it was a bit ‘showy’ for my tastes. I like the Black Gold’s subtle looks and it’s lovely in sunlight and when it’s clean.

Potentially stupid question incoming but a lot of the references to the Cromwell bolts refer to cup head bolts, now I am only looking at replacing my dampers so only need the bolt for the hub but loads of bolts are quoted as cap head when replacing for new, is there a reason for this? I thought...
Old manky bearings and hubs off, new ones on, then gave the old girl her first wash of 2021. They’ve been slowly degrading over time but your ear kind of gets tuned to the rumble. The car is so quiet now.
