I'd go along the lines of if your 100% sure it is due to the AV I'll gladly put it back on but i expect to be reinbursed for my wasted time if it doesnt work (which it wont)
There jerking your chain mate, Renault look for anything to "slippery shoulder" a job.
Its probably going to be the TB.
Are you sure the vacuum pipe is blocked off properly? That would cause a bad idle.
sounds like its missfiring. Id check ignnition components first. Coilpack leads and plug.
Mine was doing this before it was because the lead was making a poor connection to the plug because it was rusty
whats the mileage on it. Fuel filter never a bad idea I dont think its to hard to change on the old ones either. Id check all ignition components personally leads plugs coilpack air filter fuel filter etc etc.. could be lots of things unfortunately
Any lights on the dash?
piece of piss. If you can do the engine oil youl have no trouble with gearbox oil.
8mm drain plug on the bottom
then the butterfly plug on the side where you fill it up.
