No it would be the one by the 160mph in the second picture. Its not problems as such its just the post lambda telling you the fumes are to high.

There jerking your chain mate, Renault look for anything to "slippery shoulder" a job. Its probably going to be the TB. Are you sure the vacuum pipe is blocked off properly? That would cause a bad idle.

sounds like its missfiring. Id check ignnition components first. Coilpack leads and plug. Mine was doing this before it was because the lead was making a poor connection to the plug because it was rusty

whats the mileage on it. Fuel filter never a bad idea I dont think its to hard to change on the old ones either. Id check all ignition components personally leads plugs coilpack air filter fuel filter etc etc.. could be lots of things unfortunately Any lights on the dash?

for the 182 most people would say BTB system if you do a search youl get lots of info/pics. For 172 I'm really not sure.
