I got all 3 DLCs for a couple of quid here, I really loved it. Ended up completing all 3 DLCs and then bought the second one on Xbox and completed that too at the weekend.
The DLCs on the first one are well worth buying imo!
The gaming beaver has a few good videos playing them and then looking...
Saw your message on PSN, couldn't screen share as I was too busy swearing and trying to refrain from punching my TV. I'm on the DLC now and one of the trophies is quite tricky 😂
Controls are simple, the worst part is the PS controller because I really prefer Xbox, the strength of the return...
Finally got around to playing Little Nightmares today, which was one of the free PS Plus games last month. Ended up finishing it off in one session, been a long time since I did that, brilliant little game if anyone is yet to try it out.
Tempted by the DLC or the second one now.
The difference is most cars offer a spring return single sweep before the intermittent option. So it's just a tap down. On the Renault it's a manual down and up.
Still not as criminal as the lack of dual zone climate sync on the 1 series/Mini imo.
Same here, when I moved in it was on 24/7 for hot water, dropped it to an hour and now to 20 mins a day, the tank is so good it stays very hot all day.
I'm now wondering if it's cheaper to let the immersion heater do the 20 mins rather than use the boiler, in summer the only reason it's kicking...
That makes sense.
All fixed this morning with a new ring, been for a decent drive too and all good. This morning I checked it over and over again to make sure it was all clear 😂
As per my thread here, the ABS ring on one of the new discs was ruined somehow: https://cliosport.net/threads/abs-fault-after-fitting-new-discs.843571/
New ring came today, not taking any risks this time I wire brushed the bracket up ready for fitting:
Took it for a quick spin, lights and...
Well mystery solved, kind of.
I noticed a slight imperfection in the ring on the rear drivers side so took it off, all my focus until now had been the other side as that what the original code pointed to.
Pretty shocked to find this:
The sensor bracket doesn't look bad though, and the disc...
Bit of a delay here, do you still have the above tool?
Do you know if it will read live data from the clio (mk3) abs sensors? I know quite specific but I'm sure I recall you are/were a renault tech!
Yeh, I think that is the most sensible route re the diag. I'd like to see some live readings on the sensors, I'm happy to buy a scan tool (been looking at them for a couple of years) but it's just knowing what to buy.
Well if we're showing off our vices, I found this in my Grandma's garage when we cleared the house, it was in the pit and would have been my Grandad's a long time ago. It's a tad overkill for my use 😂
Yes I know the bench is too low and narrow
The rings on the rear discs are new, the brackets the sensor fits in have some surface rust but look decent enough.
I am tempted to swap out the brackets since most things online point to them but I just can't believe they're causing the issue, when people post photos of theirs online they are...
Clios are s**t.
As above, fitted the new sensor today and the light cleared itself, the code persisted but I cleared it too.
This evening I've gone for a longer drive and the lights are back, however unlike before where the light would come on as soon as I start driving, the behaviour is now...
Been using this loads more recently, I've got a few jobs mounting up so decided to have a car day today. Wanted to get through them all but no such luck.
Wanted to change the rear shocks as they were looking a bit crusty, KTEC had some good deals on rear shocks and rear discs and pads, the...
Threw some new rear discs on today and immediately got an ABS fault which won't go away with driving, the code is C1043 which I believe is rear passenger side ABS sensor.
Pulled the disc off again, gave it all a clean and still got it. Also threw the old disc back and cleared the codes incase...
My uncle is selling his nice spec V70. I'm tempted by it myself but I can't justify another car.
Thought someone on here might be interested, @leeds_182 fancy trying something modern? 😂...
These aren't they? - https://renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/parts/exterior-parts/renault-alloy-wheel-centre-cap-8200448980/
Personally I think they look crap in the wrong colour (I know that's how they came). I'd buy a set of black ones.
