Seating position is better, steering feel is better, gearing is much better, brakes are the same. Manly, I’d say the six is so much more controllable on the limit. Feels much more ‘planted’ than a 172, too.

You probably wouldn't get that much I'd say. Even a cheap second hand engine is £350, so you're still looking at the best part of £1k if you do the work yourself. Pointless when you can buy running ones for that!
