    172cup vs 306gti 6

    I really would. Seating position is better, steering feel is better, gearing is much better, brakes are the same. Manly, I’d say the six is so much more controllable on the limit. Feels much more ‘planted’ than a 172, too. Only real s**tter is the rear beam bushes are made of cheese...

    Anyone sold their Clio Sport, bought something else and regretted it?

    No. I couldn't agree more. Only two 1*2's I'd ever spend money on.

    ECU removal help!

    I could show you in a second, but explaining it, is a cnut of a job. Essentially, you need to remove the fixings. It's held into the metal cradle (which is two parts). Remove the two nuts you can see. Then use a screwdriver to prise the two metal parts of the holder apart, and remove the other...

    Do you need an oil filter tool?

    Halfords sell 'em for about £1, mate. Also, lol at changing the filter with oil in. (;

    CAMBELT..........£867

    PMSL. Euro car parts don't make parts. They only sell parts. And, you get what you pay for. They'll sell all the OE parts, without the Renault, Citroen similar stamp on..

    Broke my 172 and its just sat on my drive! dont know what to do with it...

    You probably wouldn't get that much I'd say. Even a cheap second hand engine is £350, so you're still looking at the best part of £1k if you do the work yourself. Pointless when you can buy running ones for that!

    help please

    Chances of knocking it out- slim. If you do, it'll come out in a million bits. I'd cut the cable, and drill the rest out..
