Take it you haven't kept up to speed with the news on these then...
There are litterally millions of people resetting their PSN passwords at the moment. Firstly, thats an awefull lot of emails to send out at once, and then, once they are out, its millions of email that all look almost identical...
Just a query, is it possible to quicken up the steering on a 172 so that it takes less turns lock to lock? I have been driving my GFs Mini a lot and the steering on that is a lot quicker, which makes the Clio fell like you are turning the wheel way to much for the amount of cornering you are doing?
You done a good job of it too, plus your picture is far better than the PH one to start with. Looking at that shot, you must have been stood right next to the guy taking the PH shot.
Some great shots there.
But howcome you managed to miss the pooing man and the PistonHeads photographer didn't? Did you photoshop him out?
Edit: looking closely at the grass, looks like you did! Good work!
This. Its a marketing gold mine. They can litterally market hot hatches as having the same engine technology as the F1 cars! Whilst they wont actually be the same engines, they will both be 4 pot 1.6 turbos. The flappy paddle gearboxes in Ferraris aren't the same as in the F1 cars, but they have...
Its a shame, but only because of our current opinions on turbos of limited power delivery that arrives in one big lump after an age of turbo lag.
However, I think the tides are changing and turbos are becoming more drivable. I especially like the ideas coming from F1 about using small electric...
Now that is a pie in the sky comment. I agree I would love it to stay NA, but it simply wont happen. The rise of the turbo is unstoppable with new EU regulations and the increasing cost of fuel. Its marketing suicide for car makers to stick with NA and try to sell cars that cost more to Tax and...
Its all falling into place.
Renault are looking to supply Williams F1 with engines again.
1.6 Turbos are becoming the standard for WTCC, WRC and F1, so have genuine marketability with road car manufacturers who make these sort of engines.
The number of 1.6 Turbo engines for the road in...
Ford have a patent on the technology they use. No reason why any other company couldn't develop their own way of doing it.
Cant say my GF's Mini Cooper has a heated screen though... just the usual 'clear screen' button that whacks the heaters on full and opens just the vents onto the screen...
Has anyone used the vinyl sheets? Are they just like big stickers that you cut to size and stick on, or do they require gluing, stretching and lacquering?
I like it on the strips.
Are the big sheets on the bay just large stickers, so you just peel them off, stick them on, trim them up and thats it, sorted?
The spare tyre is not part of the MOT. There is no requirement for them.
And unless your old MOT expires tomorrow you will have the time left on your current one to get them sorted. Stick it through, if the wheels are the only fail, get the tyre sorted within 10 days and take it back for a retest.
Cool. Thanks.
So at 6.5" they are 0.5" narrower than my 172 wheels, or 13mm. Thats 6.5mm either side of the wheel. With an ET of 36 they will sit 12mm further out than my ET48.5 172 wheels. when you factor in the 6.5mm smaller rim width the net result is the outside edge will be 5.5mm further...
Yeah I had thought about fitting the 'fog light brake cooling' mod. :). They are planned as track wheels. Just want to know what width they are (and therefore weather I will need spacers)
The ones from the 1.8 Mk1, what width are they? 6.5 or 6?
Also, would they cause issues with brakes overheating as track wheels with the marge surface area preventing airflow?
Lee - Just playing some F1 with a friend and he has a request... Please please please let us turn off the music for the opening title.
Launch Game, "YOU GOT THE FEAR!", *goes deaf*, ARGH!
As all Xbox games use XBL, it spans accross games much better. Notifications and messages occur the same everywhere, you can access things with one click. I especially prefer the friends setup on it. Its 1 menu to see all your friends and what they are doing, and just one menu for either join...
I'm with Clart. I have previously owned a 360, and resented having to pay for an online service. However, now I have a PS3 I can really see the difference between a free and a paid service. Compared to PSN XBL is fantastic. Its just so much slicker at everything it does. I would definitely pay...
Get it fixed before you get grease all over your wheel arch and wheel. I've just had mine done, but not got round to cleaning the mess up yet.
Ranges from about £50 to £75 depending on where you get it done.
