Unlikely in that area tbh. Also if it was sucking hit air it wouldn't make it 'bog down', it would be more like carrying a passenger or less. You sure its not something else? What map are you running?
Anyone else got any issues with bogging down when hot?
Got my 1+1 today! woo! Its bloody brilliant. Love every par of it so far. Just hope it lasts! :) Also mine came with a uk 3pin charger, not an eu charger + adapter like I thought I was going to get! Awesome..! :D
Is that one of those reds that actually really red when you see it but looks pinkish in photos?! Font hink I would mind it sooo much it is was a deep/solid red.
some people with the full fats remove the washer jets anyway. Mine dont work at all for the last 3 years and I have never been failed (or even an advisory).
I'll agree to disagree to a degree as I have replaced the front oe plastic speakers for some aftermarket ones. However, I run my door speakers off my pioneer head unit and my Pioneer TS-W3004SPL via mutant competion 1500rms monoblock and my comps stand up just fine ;)
glad its not taken your cambelt out! You took a really long time to do my test, I would have been doing it in the dark on the very same night lol.
Like others have said, make sure you replace with an aux belt kit, not just a belt :) also something caused that belt to be cut like that, so make...
Yes - just to be clear for the purpose of the thread, I tried connecting with the RON98 map - got an error. Then used RSTuner to restore my old 8000_7802 map (oe) and then tried again, got the same error. I then restored the RON98 map and tried my OBD scan tool, which works fine and is able to...
@chaski - my galletto currently refuses to connected even with the oe map restored. I might be doing something wrong with the galletto, but so far it seem like you are 100% correct.
@McGherkin
RAMAIR say they only need to be re-oiled when you wash them. Apparently something in the manufacture process puts the oil in between the 2 layers of foam somehow. However I cannot guarantee there claim! If you worried, give them a call :)
Glad your all enjoying then :) just remember to keep an eye on the filter for a while to make sure its not collapsing or anything silly!
Also its sounds amazing in a tunnel! I always think it sounds like a plane engine spinning up!
it always wise to keep watch on something new / untested :smile: I dont think it should be a problem, but some poeple may bed/damage the cages so might turn into an issue. To be fair though, if it does happen, ramair haven't done there job properly!
BTW guys, As this exact sized filter hasn't been used before in this setup, its probably a good idea to check on the filter now and then just to make sure the engine isn't trying to eat it!
p.s, If you find the filter is rubbing up against the battery quite a bit, you might want to swivel the filter so the offset is nearer the battery. You seem to have more room than me for some reason though so might not be needed.
perfectly understandable :up:
This is the inside of Daves place last time I went about 2 years ago. I believe he has converted the room of to the side as a viewing area. Not sure he has any bigger / better fans than Tipton...
