Nope, been googling all day though so get the gist. Hands at the bottom of the wheel using small inputs, right hand up (left lock) brings trailer right, left hand up, (right lock) brings the trailer left?
"If you passed your car driving test on or after 1 January 1997 you can: drive a car or van up to 3,500kg maximum authorised mass ( MAM ) towing a trailer of up to 750kg MAM. tow a trailer over 750kg MAM as long as the combined MAM of the trailer andtowing vehicle is no more than 3,500kg."
Bit nervous TBH as I've never towed using a car transporter and I'll be alone, once picked up I'm gonna find somewhere to practice reversing and parking without the car loaded. Anyone any helpful tips and advice? I'll be using the below trailer hitched to my Mondeo...
I use Shell Helix ultra 5w 40, which is only £20 for 5L at ECP with discount code SAV852964. Always used it in my performance cars N/A & TC and its always performed well.

Would be cheaper getting a solid line made up to attach to the flexi, or even a solid line to the calliper.
@20vKarlos out of interest what would you say all the plastics, headlining and carpet weigh? I'm thinking of doing mine but if minimal weight saving I'll just leave them in.
Who clamped the car John at number 10 or some cowboy outfit, or was it the council? If the latter then fair enough, if the former then as long as you don't damage their property then there's f**k all they can do as it's a private matter, which cannot be upheld in the courts.
For sure, should have really explained the logic behind my decision, the timing belt on the car looks very fresh, as in teeth are all there and of normal length, no cracks and is nice and tight, the Aux belt looks similar and is nicely seated on the pulley so not to alarmed with this either. If...
I'm just gonna take a chance on mine and if it goes wait for an engine to come up on here from a car being broken with belts done and have someone like Carl fit it or attempt it myself, same with the gearbox. They seem throw away units these days, lol.
I purchased my titty FF exactly a year ago with no receipt of belts being done and put a video up of an engine bay noise which sounded doggy, got all the usual defo dephaser, water pump, belts, get them done immediately, don't drive it, it sounds knackered etc.. car has done 5 full track days...
If I where you mate I'd say leave the belts and get the car for £1400 and get the belts done by a reputable Renault specialist, which will be around £500-600 all in with belts, water pump, dephaser, coolant and ancillaries, that way you have a nice fully sorted FF for £2000 without the worry of...
Premium branded scrubbed tyres from ebay are cheap enough to taking risks with retreads, hell budgets are dirt cheap new and offer 80% of the premiums performance. I thought retreads where old school and died a death...
BC BR's with custom spring rates and adjustable solid top mounts (recommended) can be had for £824 from Kamracing, but honestly mate a set of stiff springs on fresh dampers is fine for these cars. I have cheapo AMAX springs from ECP and they're fine for an amateur like me doing 5-6 days a year...
