I totally agree mate, and an glad they are, when we was doing Paul's production clio last season, these was never fitted as "we" thought they were classed as solid.
Builds coming on great Though.
Are the 182 hubs the same as the 172 cup hubs though?
Welcome...great project thread. RS4s great car, I had a B7 Saloon. The Clio is a great track car so you made the right choice.
Love the air deflectors.
I see those Spax are the Race springs rates for the 182 racing series? Are you planing on racing?
Ebay/renault/Ben from here who has engine parts.
This is one reason why I also use safety wire around the dipstick on track cars, inc ase it even works its way free.
CSCC TinTops has its own clio class (Class B)

BARC series has a slimilar set up to CSCC tintops, but runs slicks, so may get expensive, I know there was a few clios that ran in that (or did)...
Looks great but you may want to keep the slam panel rubber seal to stop warm air coming out from the bonnet and into the vent. Would be interested to see RR numbers under different conditions.
Yes I was the first to use them in 2014 from G172 as thats what the Clio cup racers use and a guy who used to be a rally championship used so it was worth the punt. They are a good all weather pad (wet/dry) as I know some ppl like to have wet pads/discs and separate dry pads and discs, with...
I did use longer bolts for the fronts, spacers are just thick penny washers mate, nothing posh as its not for looks. I did try to find pics on my old build thread but all my the pics have vanished!!
What Martin posted above, no need for spacers as your welding in the frames at your desired height and pitch (from pedals), this is cruital to get right as you only have an inch or so of movement that the side mounts give (bolt side mounts to those captive nuts in these frames).
Frames are...
Nice seat frames, look like to the OMP ones
I would personally (for racing) buy the weld in seat rails as these will make the seat lower, you would probably have to lower steering column too
Glad to hear it went well mate, but you really should have manned up would have been interesting to see how you got on with the R1R on the same set up wet conditions
If its firing on 3 cylinders, I would bet its one of the injectors, but as above really.
You need to take it to someone who knows these cars, wont take them long to find the problem.
