Not good at all.... Really feel for you. Agree that the house takes priority after a this is only just a hobby. Shame im
Not local I would have given you a hand, car that is not house :)
If its for MSA events (circuit racing) then the nozzles have to be a minimum of 2, one points at driver foot well the other aimed at the fuel rail in the engine.
I use a 2.25lt bottle bolted to the floor behind the passenger seat area.
Hi, if your building the car to the 182 750mc championship spec, the you will have to use KTECs own top mounts, KTEC do a specially designed front strut brace that bolts to these top mounts (like the PMS one). The PMS one wont wont fit on these.
If you do use a front OMP style strut brace the...
No, but have seen it on 2 races now...not sure if that was due to pins failing or bonnets no being done up, if your bonnet is lifting in the center you may get black flagged on track, also will act as a distraction. I would put on in personally.
I would even say that DS2500 are overkill on the rear, DS performance pads work well but thats on a cup set up with minimal rear breaking, but if the ds2500 are working for you then keep them.
Avoid DS3000's like the plauge.. They require certain amounts and correct bedding in, if not deposits will embed themselves in the discs causing uneven surface, thats what your feeling, (the discs arnt actually warped). Happened to me, I even put the discs on a lave to scrap off the deposits...
Circuit racing in 15 min sprint format.
What you looking at doing? fast road, track, race?
DS2500 pads are a good all round pad (not competition) so would recommend those, But are twice as much as the discs.
yea there vented (vents in the middle that draw hot air from the centre and out). iv had same front HC discs now for 2 seasons of racing and are only just starting to show signs of wear.
Brembo HC discs £40 is what you need, I wouldn't bother with drilled/grooved, will just eat away at the pads quicker. The BHC discs are vented anyway.
@g172 will sort you out on here
There is a threaded hole about 3" from the rear light earth point, from memory i think its a 13mm bolt, just get a file and clean the area, maybe use a small penny washer to make a solid connection...job done.
