Thanks the advice everyone, I think I will go for some front speakers and a new head unit then. Good job I hadn't ordered them yet!
Might take a trip down to Halfrauds and have a look so I can see them in the flesh and then look for the cheapest price on the net. Thanks again :)
I did it that way and it burns the files onto the disc fine but it won't play on my player. It just says 'No Disc'. When I put it into my pc it wont play it either. :(
Got my 182 Cup when I was 20 :)
And yes its easily affordable, especially as I don't smoke and waste my money down the pub every night. I have always been a saver and therefore able to afford it :)
Thanks, I am not doubting your advice but why does that article on this forum say don't worry too much about fron speakers and concentrate on the rear ones?
Hi Claire,
I really don't know anything about ICE. I have just spent the last 20mins reading that ICE guide on this site and don't understand :(
Can you recommend me a good head unit for less than £200 and some speakers? Pwease! :D
I hit a baby bunny rabbit 2 days after I got the car and it ripped the splitter off in the middle. I just screwed it back up again a little further than it must of been because it holds fine now. You won't need to jack it up if you use a short screwdriver but you're car is lowered now isn't it...
Blimey that is cheap. I got my 182 when I was 20 and it cost me close to £2k.
Got a quote yesterday from Virgin and it was about £980ish fully comp with 3years NCB. I am 21 also :)

I know its quite cheap but I am not really interested in a high end head unit. Plus this has to be better than the standard one in my cup.
Another quick question, will it support a sub?
Sorry for asking these stupid questions but...
Hi Everyone,
Sorry to be asking such a stupid question (especially as I work in IT!) but how can I burn a DVD to play on my DVD Player?
I have a pack of DVD+R's and have a DVD ripped onto my computer and there are two folders - VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS. I have tried burning them in all different...
I always reset the trip when I am at the petrol station just after I have filled it up. That way I find it gives most accurate readings per tank of petrol.
I can get about 240ish miles before the light comes on (town driving) and seem to average about 32ish mpg per tank of fuel. Of course this...
I have done just over 10k miles and my front tyres are worn a bit and my back ones are near perfect. Thats doing 1 track day and about 10 runs down the strip at Santa Pod. I am going to swap the wheels around at the weekend if I have time which should therefore mean they will last till later...
When people think of the Clio they think of the million 1.2's out there driven by old people etc (few exceptions). They don't realise there are different models etc.
I agree with blacksheep here. Its pointless spending thousands on a car which has all its power go through the front wheels. Why not save the money or buy something else?
You will only regret it further down the line. :)
I am on 10200ish and it feels quite loose. I remember when it was new, it was quite slow!
Looking forward to the 12,000mile service because after that I think it might actually take off :D
