Nothing, apart from replace them. You can't use glue or anything like that as it will damage the paintwork. There are some companies out there who will make them for you quite cheap.
I have the stripes on mine. I was going to remove them but I thought it made the car stand out and I do kinda like them.
Some days I wake up and think they look crap but when the car is spotlessly clean it looks great!
And yes, I get people trying to race me quite a lot! I don't give them the...
Bought a black 2Gb nano for my mums birthday last week. She loves it!
I helped her set it up and can't fault the little thing. I might buy myself one now if I could get it to work in my car :)
Maz - I have the exact same problem on my 182. It started happening just a couple of months ago (had the car new since last may). I am not too worried about getting it sorted because its not really a major issue (as previously noted in this thread).
I also understand how harsh dealers can be, I...
I use ebuyer, Novatech and Komplett.
ebuyer - cheap but have had problems with 1 item not being delivered and their customer service is a bit of a joke
Novatech - no problems with them, they are great but perhaps a little expensive
Komplett - only done two orders with them but they have been fine
I can't really advise you on your questions maxeh sorry :(
But this morning my mate (also my sisters partner) had his 4x4 broken into this morning and had his £300 Alpine nicked. He had left the front facia in the door pocket :(
This is the second car he has had stuff happen to, his last one...
Get a program called 'Advanced Startup Manager'. With this you are able to find out all the programs being loaded on startup and disable them from loading.
I did this on my pc and it freed up a lot of memory and gave me a faster boot time. Little things like Itunes and Ipod programs can slow it...
At the end of the day, its a Clio and not a Ferrari or something like that so they are affordable to pretty much anyone.
Luckily I had the cash to buy it outright so managed to get an ok-ish price and did have my old car as part ex (all be it a 1.1i lol).
Doesn't work in either of my pc's, Panasonic recordable DVD player or Sony DVD player!
I downloaded that extra software mentioned here and will give that a try later (when I am at home). :)
Wow!
Blimey this has changed a lot since I read it all last night. Looks like I have missed alot of the comments made in here. Sorry if I have started an argument and I am very grateful for the advice given here so thank you.
So it looks like I only need a Head Unit and front door speakers, and...
If I can stretch myself to an Alpine would that be just as good? I know I said I was on a budget but for the sake of a decent stereo I might as well just fork out.
Also, could I make my own shelf for the car? And would I also need to disconnect the rear speakers and run a cable through to the...
Right, I am going to get some 6x9's and a head unit only :)
And then if I wanted could add an AMP and a Sub at a later date. Thanks for your help everyone :)
The sounds like what a doctor would say if doing car heart surgery lol! :D
Right, so far I have figured out I need a new head unit and some speakers but what ones I don't know!
Sorry for the double post but my sister has a Clio and she has just a Sony head unit with some Kenwood 6x9's and it sounds pretty good. So is this the right idea then?
One person on here says one thing and another says something else lol. :D
Alex - So you think I should get some 6x9's then? Will the cable reach from the rear standard speakers to the parcel shelf?
This is mighty complicated :(
