I don't really know too much about this but my dad power washed the engine area of our astra and we drove off down the road a few hours later and it cut out and it wouldn't start again! Turns out the distributor cap got wet! Doh! I had to push it back up the hill!

I washed mine on sunday too and its still clean! Miracle for me too as I live in the middle of the countryside and there are lots of muddy country lanes.

Hi Everyone I have an 05 182 Cup and love it but it doesn't sound mean enough! I don't want to get a new exhaust system for it as it will cost a fortune and I don't fancy changing the cars looks. I have heard I could fit a filter which will make it sound a bit better? What would you recommend...

You can also go into Folder Options (in the Control Panel) and change all the file types which currently use firefox so that they open with IE.

Mine only does it when its cold too! And usually in reverse when doing manovres (sp). I don't drive the car a huge amount, only the few miles to work and back and never use it on the weekends anymore so I will see if it improves.

For the last few days now when ever I have the car on full lock it makes a knocking sound. I am a little worried about this because I have never had the problem before and the car is standard. Its a 2005 182 Cup. Does anyone know what this might be? Thanks

I got a Modus as a coutesy car and I forgot how slow it was and went to overtake someone and had to pull back in! Got back in my 182Cup and it felt like a rocketship :D
