The TARC Tricolore Trophy is what I race this in, there's a few others that race in the same series on the forum, highly recomended whether you're a beginner or more experience and another entry on the grid would be great.

You have 182 cup rear beam though don't you tony, mine is a 172 beam so smaller diameter standard 'roll bar' if I'd of known it was bigger when I built the car if of sourced a 182 cup beam and strengthened that. I certainly found it an improvement once the Whiteline bar was fitted at the start...
Been dropping on the civic in between other jobs, just carrying on with the interior prep of the shell. All interior wiring has been stripped back so all thats left are the rear lights and fuel pump/sender.
Also managed to get the dash board out, ffs its obscene, the whole unit is at least...
Been getting on with the beam this week, had a parcel arrive from Nick at Pure Motorsport,
comprising the replacement rear beam bearings and circlips. Also ordered their subframe repair washer kit for the wishbone mounts on the new subframe, going to try and strengthen it where possible so...
Not going to be much good on a 1000kg+ clio coming from a 500kg single seater are they? Discs are only 280mm x 18mm thick so the 'big brake' kit is actually smaller than what every 172/182 already has.

Sorry to hear about another fender bender James. Those dunlop sp wets are what I used to run on the Leon and are awesome, the amount of water they disperse is rediculous.
Good luck in the birket, who else is in the team?

There's certainly a surprising amount of stuff that's come out mate, the amount of interior bolts alone are probable double the amount that's in a full clio! A lot of extra metal brackets and stuff too, started on the wiring now too and there's a fair bit of that gone.
It's currently on the...
I love wires!
Looking good Andy, glad to see your sticking with the class A car, might be worth having a browse through the other build threads on here of the class A cars, will give you a lot of good info of what's been tried before and the usual route to go to improve the car. I won't be at...
Most of it is just strip check and rebuild pre emptive. The head needs done as its a bit smoky. Just a few little bits I want to make right that I'm not happy with + maybe some new shiny bits while nobody is looking!
Russ
Well im not messing around, clio is in bits already. Removed the rear beam tonight as theres play in the bearings where the beam mounts to the car so thats a job to sort before i do anything else.
Got a list to work through that includes going through all the suspension and brakes, new...
Cheers tony, looking forward to seeing you back in the clio next season + everyone else that's making improvements over the winter it's going to be fun at the sharp end! Need to find another 50horse power down the sofa!
Russ
Cheers Martin. 2.15 was fully wet lap in quali mate, done a 1.59 in both races which I think is still well off the cars true pace on fresh tires on a warm/dry track.

Latest weekend report from Oulton Park then.
It was all about the weather this weekend, the forecast looked horrific for saturday so in advance i swapped my Rainsports on to my OZ wheels that i normally have my dry Dunlops on, i then decided to leave the dunlops at home!
I arrived at the circuit...

I had totally ruled the autumn trophy out but it seems the entry list isn't full now so might have a word with Steve at the weekend see if i can squeeze in, I think Simon is entered.

Thanks Jack.
Been busy today stripping the interior out of the car. Got all the seat belts, trim, carpet and roof lining out and promptly filled the audi with it all ready for the skip!
Left the dash in for now, but it'll be coming out shortly once I've decided on the route I'm going with...
Well had the car on the ramp tonight to give it a thorough look over and spanner check, all is well. No signs if damages, nothing loose, broken or hanging off, can't believe it if I'm honest!
The only issue was the suspension geo had been understandably knocked out, was miles more camber on...
