When leasing it for cheap to carry the wife and baby, it's not an issue. And certainly not worth spending the extra £1500 or so.
If you're doing 15k+ a year in it then I see your point but as a basic family tool, budget>luxuries.
IMO.
£750 really.
I have a 55,000 mile Monaco that I've spent the last two years restoring. Just about to have its full respray any day now.
That will be up for £2795 but it needs nothing and is mint.
There was a huge group of us, I barely managed conversations with half my group let alone talking to strangers! Lol
I was in a Fabia VRS, my mates took a storm grey 172, a red E36 M3, a silver 182 and an RS3.
I had that a LONG time ago! Hold on I'll see if I've got a pic...
No. 86,000 miles is 86,000 miles.
It's low mileage for its age, but it's not low mileage.
And for the record, the average mileage is 15,000 miles a year.
It's not rocket science.
One overtook me the other morning and I did a double take, it's a very bad looking car.
Way too try hard and way too Fast and Furious. Which was 15 years ago.
FLOL! You crack me up.
"Going to rebuild an engine on my week off, never done it before, how hard can it be...."
Hats off to you mate, you're one clever fucker!
This is a common fault.
You need to cut the connector blocks out and solder the wires together directly.
All of the moving backwards and forwards that the seat does, the connection goes bad/breaks and causes the warning light.
Even for a novice it's an hours work tops.
My friend bought a BEAUTIFUL one back in 1999/2000. He bought it off his beighbour who had 10 trouble free years out of it. Was lowered, air filter, bleed valve, scorpion exhaust... Bloody lovely.
My mate had it 3 years and it spent more time in the garage than on the road. It literally fell...
People like me save for it. People like you just buy it using all the excess cash you have from last months pay cheque.
