Bad luck doesn't even sound like it anywhere near a good a word to describe it all. Amazing commitment and work to sort it all and F**k it attitude to the luck :) all will come good in the end.
Going through Colwyn Bay towards Aberegele and carrying on the A55 at around 19:30-19:50f. 05 QTY (or OTY) on number plate. Very biased in saying this but Trophies look so nice haha.
eBay mate, 8mm x 4mm. Only put on today so will see if they stay on. It's 3M backed and can always use some extra adhesive.

Not much of an update really but has taken some time, given it it's first wash this year. Rinse, Snow foam, iron x, wash and clay. Wheels gone over. Followed by going over body with a DA using Megs cutting compound, zaino polish and sealant the following weekends. (Used the Fx kit too)...
Good to hear it's getting sorted now Martin, shouldn't have to do so much legwork yourself but maybe you've forged a better way to get any future work done on them with AST Holland now :)
March- April 2016
First update of the year, had been trying to get some motivation or as I'd say in Welsh 'Mynadd' to change the Alternator. Finally got my arse in gear as I had started looking at some trackday dates for this year.
Had initially thought of taking the whole bumper off but more...
No not yet mate. Need to get the 2118's measured up and then try a few sizes to decide from there. Been getting mine ready and sorting other issues so taken a back burner atm haha.
Check that the black brackets underneath havent moved or twisted as theyre only held on with single central rivet and are sitting inside where the triangular mounts are inside the skirts.
Might be best taking the skirt off all together and seeing whats amiss, just need some new pop rivets to...
Always go with a stiff side wall, the Exaltos 2's had them and the Sport 3's even in the extra loading option isn't anywhere near as stiff and suffer for that in feedback and feel so always go with stiffest you can imo.
Mines same, the fuel flap sits further in than the rear 1/4 panel. Hasn't always been like that but not really looked into why, probably rubber stop wearing down.
Haha, was looking at it for surprising long time going . . . im sure those machine marks..brake dust on caliper...miller vices marks and gouges look familiar etc ..... then had to look on my phone.
looks great, are you changing the ecu from the gen90 or is it just the map you meant with swap?
How do you rate the gen90 in terms of the software and overall features of the hardware?
Looks very nice and seeing as it's Johnnys old one will have been well looked after before you aswell :)
Where abouts in north wales are you? Seen one around Bodelwyddan way.
Anybody got any advise on taking the tension off the belt to change the alternator?
All alternator bolts slackened off no issues but now struggling. Got a 3/8th square drive tool on flat bar but cant get into tensioner.
Any advise or photos be greatly apprechiated
Hi :) sorry for slow reply guys. Probably got all your answers now but my spec are 5mm machined off standard calipers with the 280mm setup brackets. I run et43 2118's and standard Trophy turinis of et45 with a 15mm spacer to be safe. No issues but iirc one of my 2118's wheel weight glance very...

Probably been mentioned before but tinted headlights and tailights, why the hell would yo want less light to pass throught the lens than should?
Massive gravel spec mudflaps on a road car, usually an impreza, usually with massive 'STi' or whatever when it usually isn't even an sti and usually...
Thank you Plees. No that was a standard rubber mount. Not sure if anyone does an uprated one now but there were none back then. The uprated vibratecknik ones were the upper engine and upper gearbox, then the powerflex rear (dogbone) mount.
No not yet mate. Seems to be running ok now alternator wise, sound wise it's awful, but proves my suspicion with bearings. Will be getting new cambelt same time most likely too as due so may have been tempted to window shop with head work and top end stuff too . . . probably wont at moment as...
