Sad times that its the end of the Ph1, but looks like it was a nice send off overall excluding the obvious, sure it would make an epic hollywood film anyway ;)
Agree, took me years to justify mine, new pads and discs along with rebuilding standards were mine, can't ignore the looks either Haha. Pad changes are 2 min job now too if you need more justification ;)
Thanks :smile: Had similar sittuation when I came to change them with refurbishing standards and retaining Pagid pads or upgrade and have to change pad brand.
Unfortunately with other issues since they've been fitted I haven't been able to track or propperly run them but they're deffinately...
It's imacculate, started off by getting the cleanest Mk2 he could get a hold of with intention of getting it better than showroom, restoring it almost 100% to mint stage with a mildly tuned C20XE then deciding to go stripped out track car with even more power. It's Immacculate and quick.

Was suppose to be getting myself onto a trackday last month but some little issues stopped me so had to be a passanger in my brothers car. So looked to get onto a trackday in September along with the Clio Trophy meet here in North Wales but instead my alternator decided to destroy...
Was gutted, was on way from farm as it decided to be a b**ch. Keep me posted on any future Welsh drives :) Will get little red running healthily soon enough and hopefuly will have a newly turbo'ed one there too :)
@dablk assuming you're not going ahead with conversion now? They're brilliant stopping power, maybe overkill. Pads I'm using has meant I've been unable to see 100% what they're capable of but they do stop lol.
Thanks @Cub. Will be used on track mainly so not a problem and if I get loads of dirty looks times I drive on road I might get another set of standard ferodos to pop on there.

Initial impressions apart from the noise ;) is very positive. Definitely don't think ill be changing the MC now.

Thats sounds exactly like mine @CUB they stop well enough it's just the noise. Are yours quiet initially when cold too until they start heating up slightly?
Ordered the above kit you mentioned @optical, was using the cera-tec stuff assuming...
Anybody able to help me with this problem please, since ive fitted the Megane 225/230 brembos on mine the brakes when warmed up squeal so loudly. Not like on standard calipers, the'yre ridiculously loud.
Stripped them apart after bedding them in (around 4 high speed stops followed by cooling...
Cant wait to take it out properly and test them :)

Wheel studs and nuts are next on list, already chipped the paint on the calipers swapping wheels lol.
