July 2015
Been busy this month trying to get all things sorted. First on the list was to get my Sabelt wheel fitted (4-5years in a box - yeah I'm a procrastinator lol)
Had made the cruise control/limiter look up previously so all was straight forward enough, or was until the indicator stalk...
The 197/200 master cylinder can be used on cars with abs, got one stripped down atm for when i getaround to fit my 4pots. Not fitted yet so can't comment any further but both look the same side by side.
Can't find a Trophy project thread that had more details but heres one...
Got to the bottom of my problem, basically a faulty part. The indicator stalks sliding contact was broken inside. Tried to repair with another but ended up breaking the two lol, French plastics lol.
Bought another and worked fine.
Moral of story don't keep parts for years before fitting them...
Sorry if this is the wrong section but could anyone who has the Renault part numbers software get me some parts please.
Just tried Renault Wolverhampton but couldn't get any answer and West Renault aren't Wests anymore and aren't sending anything via post or discounting anything for us on this...
PH1 stalk i have when fitted does the following
NS indicator flashes permanently
And the rear or front fog indicator flashes up.
Anyone had this problem when retrofitting ph1 stalk onto a 182 for the horn function? Refitted original and all is ok.
Any help please or exact spec of indicator...
They measure approx (+/- few mm) 465mm from end of standard threaded fixing to middle of the Banjo fitting. The banjo is a 45deg fitting.
Pure Hose length is 430mm assuming they fully inserted hose into fittings before crimping.
Ones I got were HEL ones.
Any other questions Andy just...
They're custom length 197 ones I got from Chris Powell as part of the bracket package. Weren't much iirc. I can measure them up for you on Sunday if you want?
You don't blame them as a Company doing that anyone would that wants to survive.
Like you said it's the people that cause the stoppages hoping that it will be same as Cadwell for you at Anglesey for me, everytime I've been there with circuit days and Anglesey Track club there's been max of 2...
Really :/ looks like my Anglesey Trackday will be same then. Will highlight the issues even more there as been there loads of times with other organisers so will be a massive contrast.

BTCC and then Trackday with Javelin at Donington. First time I'd gone with Javelin. Had 30-1hr delay in morning due to heavy fog , but they cut the lunch hour down to give us some time back. Overall a great day, really enjoyed once I'd gotten to know the track, pushing things a bit...

Got the dampers back from BG a week before I was booked to be at Donington. Many thanks to BG for getting them back to me on the Monday having worked on them late Friday before and getting courier in specially to get mine out. Great job on them, one new piston rod needed (had had the...
ET43 2118 with a 15mm (playing safe) spacer.
Not measured what's the minimum you can run yet with 2118's but in standard Turinis I could in theory run 6mm spacers.
Think the ones youre on about were same ones as mine, cup racer based but modified to fit bit better. Not made anymore so not of much use to you Jon

These are the CM composite ones which are...
No didn't use it on there. Used their engine enamel paint on it's own (with their primer underneath though), not sure if they made a clear coat for that specific paint but don't think it's needed. Was wary of using normal laquer on calipers with heat especially on trackdays, think normal laquer...
Thanks mate :)
Thanks :) I love the VHT stuff, they've got loads of specialist finish paints, not cheap but I'd recommend them to anyone.
Used their engine enamel, roll bar paint, epoxy and caliper paint. They do a lot of OEM colours too, mainly American stuff though
Is the brake servo on 182's same as the rest of the Clio mk2 range?
Anyone have an idea how much one would he from dealers?
Also Is the 197/200 servo interchangeable or the same?
