DT don't have them in stock though...
Fact is, nobody does. So buying them from anywhere will mean waiting. Better to get a batch of 30 or so ordered in a group by rather than wait for them to come in stock, then leave people left out as they sell all the stock before fullfilling the group...
You will want a few washers with 10mm holes if you want to still allow the seat to slide. Putting it right down means it binds on the carpet so wont slide any more, putting a couple of washers on each bolt raises it enought to allow it to still slide. Its what I have done, works a treat (need to...
Ouch. Glad your ok.
But as said, if you are going to be lightening the car, stripping the interior and modding the suspension its best to start with the car with the least stuff in your way, so a 172 cup is spot on.
Cheap as chips now too.
Sorry Ali, I should have been more specific, I meant that measuring a representative on the road wheel figure is difficult with a dyno due to the rollers and other drags. Running 120bhp at the wheel on a roller doesn't mean you will have 120bhp at the wheel on the road, whereas getting an...
Please please PLEASE do not get into this argument. Yes, its the wheel BHP that is measured acurately, but that is not the figure people use. You can obtain wheel figures in multiple different ways getting mutliple different readings, but if the calculations on transmissions and dyno drag are...
Nobody in the UK EVER quotes wheel figures as they are low and difficult to measure using twin roller dynos. Every BHP figure you ever see in any UK car details is a fly figure.
Any RR proof up yet?
Definately interested.
There are none in stock anywhere at the moment. Demon Tweaks and K Tec show them as online on their sites but if you contact them they dont actually have any and will need to order them from Australia.
I would expect a company would be happy to order a batch of 20 or so...
Im liking the Yellow/Black idea... Black wheels with yellow rim and yellow diamonds. Black bullets with yellow letters, black dash strip with yellow wording. yellow diamonds front and back on black backgrounds...
I am thinking of making my Clio 'stand out' a bit as I will be taking it on track. Its an Iceberg 172 so fairly plane. I was thinking of putting some coloured wing mirrors or fog light surrounds or calipers on it. If anyone has any pics of silver clios with coloured bits on it can they post them...
Re: FINALLY - Top mount moddified part from Renault!
Who what ho hum how?
Can someone give me a rundown of what the issue is and how these new parts fix it? I have got a creaking on full lock on the passenger side front, which sounds like it could be the creaking you lot say is fixed with this...
From what I can gather from my latest email around everywhere, there are not any Whiteline ARBs in the UK and wont be untill next month at the earliest.
HI
My new Ferodo DS Performance pads on the front are squeeling at low speed. They were fine when I fitted them, but I have since done some 'spirited' driving and now they squeel when applied at low speed. They have probably been on the car now for 800 miles.
WIll it go, or will I have to...
Yep. They are new tyres all round. Before I had some uber budget ditchfinders on and the car would understeer way before stressing the sidewalls as there was so little grip. The new tyres have highlighted the lean on the sidewall.
I see you can buy some Camber bolts to put some on the front...
After meeting a couple of other Clio owners yesterday I today popped the pipe off that feeds the stock airbox on my 172 to get the added noise.
Its Great! Went for a drive around and ended up giggling like a school girl! Especially as I brapped and boomed past a sign about 'Removing anti...
Hey
After giving my 172 'the beans' around some twisties and roundabouts yesterday I have noticed that I can feel the outside front tyre leaning on the sidewall when cornering, and loosing grip. It feels like it wants to understeer and then bumps or undulations can cause it to skip a little...
That ebay listing suggests they don't have any stock, so I don't know wether to trust the email from tweaks sayin next day delivery! K Tec show them on their site but nobody has got back to me about whether they are instock or not yet.
Cheers guys. 2 holes it is then. Shame these are hard to get hold of. Balance Motorsport predict 6 weeks delivery, Deamon Tweaks (apparently) stock them but don't know whether they are the adjustable ones. Emailed a couple of other places too see if they stock them. I will report back.
Hi
I thought there were 2 types of Whiteline ARB, the fixed one with 1 hole, and the adjustable with 3 holes. However I have found the one on K Tec says it has 2 holes? I am now confused?
Any clarity on these from people who own one? I would ideally like an adjustable. Does the one with 2...
If you live there you must go to work before me in the mornings as I've walked past your house every day for 3 weeks and not seen it untill tonight.
Looks tidy.
