Yeah, as I have said, the feeling I got from the stockists is that Whiteline are not particularly reliable on their shipping times or quantities. Most were straight up and said they had no idea when they would be in, or how many they would get.
Although I expect someone at Whiteline UK has...
Bizzarly, a Subaru specialist company! They don't stock anything other than Subaru parts normally, so I can only assume they ordered one by accident and as its not advertised anywhere on their website it was just sat in a corner?
If you can find one, good on you. Put a bit of effort in and you...
Yep, been down that route too. £377 AND an 8 week at least wait! Even found contacts in Australia that could ship it to me privately but still worked out at £90 shipping.
Thats fine, join the queue then. Nobody is forcing you to pay £300 for one to have one now.
£260 for an ARB that doesn't exist vs. £300 for one that does...
To be honest, Demon Tweeks are completely taking the **** charging that for a pre order for stock they don't yet have, and quite possibly won't be able to fulfil with the stock incoming. They are in the exact same position as...
This man understands.
Cant wait to get this on my car, but if someone wants it more than me before I get a chance to fit it at the weekend then they can have it for £300.
I have wanted one for ages and finally found one. It will be going on my car this weekend BUT, should someone wish to give me £300 for it i will happily part with it. I dont see any issue with this? If you had put in the legwork like I did then I wouldn't expect any different...
I've no idea what good photography looks like, so cant comment on the pictures (they look good to me), but I can definitely say your mates driving needs some improvement! :)
I am with Bell too, and from the comparisons I did before buying the car, declaring my non standard exhaust cost an extra £25ish a year, which I think was perfectly acceptable.
I have heard this, but don't quite get how? Does it cause all other fluids to come out looking blue so its difficult to tell when the old fluid has gone and the new fluid has filled the system? What if you replace with more blue and just use 1/4 of a litre each corner?
They are made in Australia. Most places wont stock them, they will just order them when required (with a few months lead time!), so those who do soon sell out. From my research anywhere that does hold them in stock has already sold more than they are getting in the next shipment anyway!
There is no 'best'. it depends entirely on what you want to do with it.
When I bought my Clio 172 I was driving 70 miles a day, so the leather, Xenons and all the other creature comforts were a definate, so for that situation the standard was the best.
Now though, I get the train to work and...
Hey
Does anyone have any pics of an Iceberg 172 with blue highlights (mirrors, calipers, diamonds, etc)? Trying to think of a way to spice up my 172 but with the Iceberg paint having a faint blue-ness about it most other colours just don't look right. Black or Carbon looks good, but its...
Affects are minimal. Taking the pipes off makes it a lot louder (I have done it on mine, its great fun!) but doesn't affect anything else too much. There is the potential for slightly less power as you are sucking in hot air from the engine bay, not cold air fed through the feed, but the loss is...
