Yup, i'll be there cheering you on. If people bribe me with Haribo i might cheer for them as well ;)
Looks lovely!!
Re: the swirl flaps, as far as im aware, they didnt have any:

I'd still want to confirm that via some internet research though tbf.
Yeah, the actual revs at 80mph are roughly 4k in 6th in the 197/200 (with longer ratio box) and 4k in 5th in the 182.
Just for some reason, in the 197/200 it felt far more frantic than the 182 for some reason.
Also, 28 mpg vs 36mpg lol.
Need to know what rack i have so that i can order wishbone/tie rods/track rod ends for the Trophy, but i dont seem to have a sticker ...
Looking through posts:
Mike took some pics:
Note, i have no idea what any of this is, just looks like dirt to me.
Re: Sir_Dave's Trophy. The 182 on (nearly) 182k ...
I had it for 3 weeks in April lol: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?633997-197-Cup-Nimbus-Recaros Was decidely average, & certainly not worth 4 grand more that the Trophy!!! So i put it up for sale after 12 days & bought a 330i...
Re: Sir_Dave's Trophy. The 182 on (nearly) 182k ...
Right, so last night i booked into the trackday at Llandow on 7th June, so made a little list of bits required.
Not really essential, but i might as well get cracking on with it:
New front wishbones, track rod ends, tie rods, ARB bushes...
Thats already sorted. May i present the Munson rivalling Lolvo RS ;)
Well yes, & despite the lack of safety, probably no worse than 'scening' the 330 and sticking a fridge on the roofrack.
I work in financial sales, dont really need to be brainy, just able to use a calculator & flog stuff. Best cash price, on cash ...
But anyways, back to the 'trailer' - its a genuine question, not something daft like this:
Possibly a dumb question, but FailSport are going to Le Mans shortly & need to carry quite a bit of kit ...
Mike's turbo ovlov has a tow hitch, & we have a 172 rolling shell.
Can we just weld a tow bar on the front of the clio (subsequently creating a 'trailer'), wang a copy of the ovlov's...
Re: Which model Clio do you prefere and why?
I've never driven a Mk1 so cant really comment, but i was fairly disappointed with the 197/200, as im sure most people guessed.
3 weeks lol.
I was paying £1850 a year to insure my modified 106 gti at 21, so can understand why you'd want to do it ...
If you can afford it why not, people on here buy new 200's and lose 6 grand as they walk out the showroom. Insurance is just the same, its throwaway cash.
Nothing wrong with T1Rs...
Thing is, its illegal to buy anything new for a 106/saxo anyways, just buy from the retards on saxop/106moaners.
Bilstein/Faulkner's go for £250 max over there.
Re: Bora With Genuine BBS splits
Look like the Style 42's off the e39 5 series - also known as the RS744/745. They're 18x9 (et24) and 18x8 (et20), 5x120 bolt pattern.
These are 17's, but you get the idea.
