Really? I like Renaults, but i wouldnt spend more than 5 grand on one lol. Depreciation FTL.
Lovely looking S3, have been looking at these myself over the past few days, but they are too many £££'s.
Great spec with Recaros and Nav, just need MTM wheels and it'll look lovely ...
Nom Nom Nom.
Wow, some truly epic cars on there!!
I'll have these two please, one reminds me of growing up, & one reminds me of the current day.

That looks ace Matt!!
Re: the gearbox oil, it was all done at an Indy at 95k, then again at just under 100k by BMW when they replaced some gearbox temperature sensor thingy under warranty. But yeah, think im going to have a chat with another BMW dealer about the coolant, was quoted about £65 by...
I cant help it lol, if something breaks, i always replace with the best stuff available!! No point doing things by halves ;)
RS2 Extra is going on Nick & Ollie's racecar now (they collected it last night in fact), i simply couldnt be bothered to fit it. At the end of the day, even with 190 odd...
Thats the thing, its not some cheapo 2 grand shed anymore lol. Its got quite a lot of £££'s tied up in it these days to be honest ...
I only ever fit the best bits to it, & thats kinda mounted up a wee bit :clown:
Just clocked over 185k, plenty of life left in it yet!!
Next to the old shed...
So after the recent trackday i thought i had better do a brief write up on the H&R coilovers:
With the front camber set to -2 degrees negative, handling is nigh on exactly the same as the Sachs/Sportline combo that i had previously, with an improved ride quality for day to day use. Obviously i...
Dont be daft, they're not fine up to 99.9k miles, then fall apart on 100k miles lol.
My old 330 (Vish's) is now on about 170k i think, still smooth as silk.
Noticed that the other day actually!! It is was blue id be soorly tempted ...
Deleted your pm by mistake btw, send over what your looking for & ill have a browse when im free next. Busy with month end at the mo though mind you, so might be a few days lol. Still havent done the Le Mans writeup :o
I must admit, the rest of the pricing was relatively sensible, but i did lol at the coolant charge.
Thats the part i might get done elsewhere, but for the extra hassle/time im work required, im not sure i can be bothered.
Might as well get the whole lot done again, so cambelt, aux belt & dephaser. Plus me having to take a day off work/inconvenience, etc.
So yeah, a grand.
Awesome!!!! You need to put some pictures up :star:
Well, funny you should ask ... house purchase has been delayed as one of us (not me) might be looking to move jobs/area for start of Sept. 2013 term - so no point buying anywhere for 18 months until we know where she's relocating too. As...
What i would pay would depend entirely on where the belts were done.
BTM/519/Birchdown - £4k
NWP and/or some other muppet garage - £3k
The latter price bears in mind that the timings probably wrong & everything needs doing again.
For £4k, id also what to see at least 6 stamps in the service...
Ha ha, ive had more than enough e36's now i think!! Although ive had 6 x e46's as well now lol. Didnt realise you still had an e36 though, makes me feel a little less sad about you breaking the silver shed i suppose ;) I assume you're talking about an Ariel Atom btw, not some two wheeled lunatic...
Looks like a nice bus, word of advice though:
Good Tyres All-Round (2x Pirelli P Zero Rosso, 1x Continental Sport Contact II, 1x Kuhmo Ecstra Spt).
That just screams 'run on a budget'. Non-matching tyres on an axle is gay.
Brand and model
H&R Coilovers (182 Cup fitment)
Reason for purchase
The Sachs needed refurbishment & for the price of a full refurb (£820) i thought it wise to perhaps try something else. If the 'something else' was no good, i would simply take them off & get the Sachs refurbed.
Review of...
Of your choices i would go for the KonigSports, have driven both Ollie & Nicks cars on them and have been very impressed.
Rather amusingly, the KW V2's that everyone bums reputedly use Koni adjustables as well ... Another choice would be H&R - ive been very impressed with mine, very similar to...
If you lot are all after a 330i Sport touring, offer me decent money for mine lol. Black, with black leather, heated seats, xenons & sunroof.
Audi looks lovely btw, wheels are a massive improvement :)
