FLOL its like a never ending bag of nightmares! Glad its sorted now.
Danlp6 is our local Renault guru and is quite possibly the best in the area, so you took it to the right place :)
I would think your timing would be out with figures that low. Have you got it checked by a specialist? My IK is a custom job with a Ramair foam filter + 70mm pipe as seen in the pic below.
Lee's 172 - 179
Vikki's 172 - 175
Dan's supercharged one - 267
Dan's RS2 - 197 (taken from post above as I didn't know this one was run)
McGherkins 1.2 - 65
Richy182's cup - 186
there were a lot more on the day but they haven't posted there results up. Also from our previous one at the same...
Induction Kit, Blueflame catback system & RStuner map. You don't need cams or ITB's to be in the 190's according to the RS192 website, so no reason why mine might not be giving the same performance ;)
no problems. It was the same rollers as the previous graph and other cars that ran at both events (without any mods between the two) showed the rollers to give very similar readings between the two, so it would suggest my IK setup has added a fair bit combined with the RON98 map. Funny enough...
I personally wouldn't be happy with anything less than 175 from a 182. But it could be that the rollers are under reading a bit. Its best to go to one of the group RR events that take place as then you know how your car fairs against others.
Here's my RR graphs from the last three I have done...
dont literally heel & toe, use the side of your foot on each peddle like this:
if your trying to do the traditional heal flick maneuver its hard as f**k.
basically adding a parallel data store that can be manually switched to.
I'm not that familiar with ECU implementations, but I would have thought that this approach would required the ECU to be powered down so it could re-initialize? else the mcu program/memory pointer will be reading data...
cant say I have ever come across this as of yet but it is supposed to. McGherkin & Ed.200 will confirm that i switch to p&b mid was through a drive, then we had a fairly long and hard drive and switched back to the normal map in a layby (p&b was getting a bit annoying as it sound like shotgun on...
Like McGherkin said, I used to swap my maps over whilst out and about without issues (when I had the decat on). As your only writing a cal with the RStuner, a power supply isn't needed on the 182, especially considering the car has just been running (provided the laptop battery is over 50%) and...
are you sure the drive is getting enough power? I see this often when people underpower the drive by using a normal USB cable to power the drive. You need to use a twin usb cable to power external HDD's correctly or use an external power adapter.
I dont understand how people have managed to make themselves normal users and not administrators! Anyway, just goto "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\User Accounts\Change Your Account Type" in safemode to correct the issue, problem solved.
you should have been able to use the 'run as' feature or make your account an admin account.
Now you have it uninstalled though, just try it with the most basic driver you can (i.e. the ones windows installs for you).
its really not lol. It works fine on pc's, you just have to know how to use it (which is difficult at all). 8.1 even gives you a start menu option in the old place.
just uninstall the drivers for your mouse pad and use basic/generic ones. It will remove the side swipe actions (if you cant get the official driver to stay 'disabled'). If you cant do it form the normal logon, use safemode.
that will not require the use of the GPU at all (I write full ERP systems and don't need to offload to the gpu). definitely don't limit yourself to nvidia for that.
exactly. I cant think of any under c#!
.net doesn't offload to the gpu without a third party library anyway, and you wold have to be doing some complicated maths/sorting of some kind to benefit from it. Also do you want o be writing applications that other may not be able to use? (never a good...
an AMD GPU isn't going to cause you any problems with any of the above. And if your looking to offload mathematical operations to the GPU, CUDAfy.NET works with Nvidia and AMD (CUDA and OpenCL).
