Exhaust Cat Mod - Sleeve or Flange

I'm just gonna get it taken off. If it's too loud for my liking, I'll just keep the silencer and get it put back on. Now just to get it booked in!

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=10151&langId=-1&categoryId=165595&productId=800577&storeId=10001 I get these Xtreme Cherry ones which last forever. Search for them on eBay though as they're cheaper than getting them from Halfrauds. Try putting...

    Car scents?

For people that don't rate the Cali scents, as said in my first post, make sure you get the 'extreme' ones. They're the ones with the gel stuff in them rather than the blocks and are sooooo much better!

Exhaust Cat Mod - Sleeve or Flange

That looks spot on. Think I'll just go with it sleeving, looks much easier than getting a flange welded on. Now do I remove the silencer or not?

Exhaust Cat Mod - Sleeve or Flange

@Bear Head have you removed the silencer of yours? How much louder does it make it?

Exhaust Cat Mod - Sleeve or Flange

Pretty sure it's the olive joint. It was blowing already but when me and dannnnnn2973636283 fitted my scenic shifter, we only put it back together quickly as I knew it needed sorting anyway. If there's any other holes on the cat etc, I'll just get them to weld them up whilst they're there ha

Exhaust Cat Mod - Sleeve or Flange

Hi all, Basically my Piper exhaust is blowing like f**k from the olive joint I think. It's also sagging pretty bad at this joint too. The Piper is already sleeved so should I just get a pipe welded to the cat and clamp it or get a pipe welded to the cat as well as a flange on either side to...

    The new joint daily

I used to work in the building next door, they were shocking when I had problems with my 1.2 Clio years ago, didn't have a clue! Glad I didn't take it for my belts doing there on my 182.

    Gear leaver extention options?

I got one of @Ash-b-84 shifters and its hands down the best thing I've done on my 182. Not sure if he's still doing them though.

    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

To be fair, I probably applied a bit too much pressure when I applied it (It was a few years ago now) but yes I did do quite a few layers. Then a few layers of Vics Concours over the top. Looked absolutely brilliant for the whole 3 days it stayed clean!

    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

Prima Amigo is brilliant, did my old black A3 with it by hand, couldn't feel my arm by the end of the day!

    Smaller front number plate where?

Not checked recently but wouldn't be surprised. I was going to get a smaller front plate and normal rear plate but it came to just shy of £30!! I just got some plain standard plates off eBay with no postcode etc at the bottom for around £10.

    CS_dave 172 20v clio turbo

Just read this from the start, such a good sleeper, looks brilliant! So they couldn't run it because it was lowered? I'd have thought 75-80% of cars that would go on a RR would be lowered.

Yorkshire Go Karting Meet - March

I'd be up for this, dependant upon dates ofc. Was thinking last night that we should organise a rolling road meet Dan if we could get enough people!

    My c4 cactus.

If they didn't have the stupid things on the doors, these would look pretty good IMO. Decent mile muncher though.

    Number Plate LED Bulb

Hi all, Just bought a new rear numberplate lense/housing thingy and I'm wanting to get a LED bulb in there to freshen up the rear end. I'm looking for one that would look OEM and not the super bright ones that can be seen from space. There's loooaaadsss on eBay but wondered whether anybody had...

    Daniels Blue 182.

    Looking for coilovers .

Personally I'd always recommend coilovers, purely so you can adjust it yourself and get the ride height exactly how you want it. Don't buy cheapo, shitty coilovers though. As @NorthloopCup has said, B14's are decent and won't break the bank. I've got KW V1's on mine.
