What jack are you using? You should easily be able to get it high enough with any decent jack.
And please tell me you had axle stands for when you got the car up. Messing about with a rusted on cat with the car just being held up with a jack is a recipe for disaster.
Sorry if I've overlooked this but have you changed the springs? Looks like it has loads of rake and could do with either lowering a bit more at the back or raising at the front. May just be the pics though.
Hi all,
Looking to change my gearbox oil as it's done over 100k miles and very much doubt it's been done before.
I know I need 3/3.1 litres and 75w-80
Question is what oil should I be looking at? Elf Tranself NFJ 75W-80 any good?
Thanks
Car is so much smoother now, loads nicer to drive.
Took the throttle body off to give it a clean when I got home, put it all back together, turned engine on and it was idling at 2000 and didn't do anything when I pushed the loud pedal. Thought I'd fucked something up, which wouldn't have been...
I've been meaning to start a thread since I got the car, it just takes me a while haha.
I was gonna edit it and shiz on the mac but that's straight off the camera.
I ran some H&R Trak+ spacers on my A3 previous to my 182 for around a year and a half and had no issues what so ever and an A3 is a bit heavier than a Clio.
When I saw the thread title, I hoped it was you with this 328! Been following you on Instagram for a while. Loved your Techno Violet one so will be nice to see how this one turns out.
One of these is definitely on my 'to own' list.
My top mounts don't sit flush and there's a gap between the body and top mount, quite common apparently. However, mine do sit level when when both wheels are staight.
Hi all,
Think I know the answer to this but just want to double check.
Is there anyway to get DAB radio on the standard HU? Anything you can buy to make this happen?
Thanks
Putting PH1 rears on a PH2 is as easy as unplugging one and plugging the other ones in.
Look at @dann2707 thread, he's recently fitted PH1 rear lights to his PH2.
