Dont worry the badge didn't survive long after those pics where taken, feels slower without it though! Had to remove a hideous stainless boot sill protector as well, not sure what the previous owner was thinking of! E60/61's didn't get efficient dynamics until quite late on in life 2007/2008...
Picked it up from deepest darkest Scotland on Saturday, 535d M-Sport Touring in Silver Grey with grey leather and dark wood + loads of extras, electric heated memory seats, panoramic roof, pro sat nav, tv, 6cd changer, active steering, adaptive bi xenon headlights, electric tail gate, tinted...
Nice report Jay, some of my pics dont actually look too bad! 7th isn't too bad, Tony did look very lonely all on his own after the pitstop. That integra's best lap is rediculous btw, 1.55 on treaded tyres. Think my old leon has done a 1.56 on full slicks around there and my mates 306 ex btcc car...
Nice to see you and tony yesterday mate, was a good day. Once you get the car handling consistantly it'll be a real weapon. Looking forward to the report, hope you're not relying on my pictures though! I really need to finish my ph1 now, almost want to just chuck some tbs on it and come and play...
I'm 50/50 atm Piers, but i'll be in the F1 anyway as the Trophy needs some TLC, getting its cambelt service done, dampers refurbed + unpinned, wheels refurbed, mark fish koni upgrade + springs and some new brakes all round. Gonna be an expensive couple of weeks!

Its been a while since there was an update due to moving house and being busy with other things. Not really moved on a great deal, shell is still sat waiting to be painted, trying to get my mate motivated is a nightmare! Its pretty much buried under a load of crap in the garage atm anyway...
Searched loads threads on here but haven't found an answer. Are the front lower suspension arms different between cs models, got some brand new wishbones for my ph1 that I want to stick on my trophy.
Russ
Cheers guyrs,
rams, it had a couple of minor issues when i got it but nothing major + i think a lot of people were put off by the tints. It was completely standard in every respect and the bodywork is damn near immaculate. Obviously its due a cambelt and a decent service but then so are 95% of...
Been off work today so done a couple of jobs on the Trophy. First was to replace the drivers side mirror glass as it was cracked, renault wanted £26 for the glass only so i told them to whistle and swapped the glass from the mirror on my PH1 whilst its sat doing nothing.
Next on the list was...
Steve, just about took me all day. Getting the film off is the easy bit, hetagun and peel it off. Its getting the glue off afterwards thats hard. I used some nasty liquid i got off my mate who does signs/graphics. Disolves the glue and you can scrape it off with a credit card or similar, then...
The 2 previous owners were registered on cliotrophy.co.uk so may have been on here too, previous keeper was from eastbourne and had it since 2007, he sold it, and his chrysler voager, to a small trader that i bought it from. Lloyd at spirit autos in Hove, really nice guy and a Renault enthusiast...
Cheers guys.
Gib, i will hopefully. Be nice to get to a meet together with the 3 known cumbrian Trophies.
Tunst, ph1 is probably the same as last time you sawy it as i've been moving house and stuff, gonna be a big update soon hopefully as i've just bougght a sc kit!
Russ
Just picked it up yestersday, it involved a lift to the airport from my dad at an unholy hour, a flight from newcastle to gatwick, my mate picked me up from the airport and gave me a lift to brighton then i drove the 376 miles home in it! If you'd seen it up for sale you'll have seen it had...
Might pop out in the afternoon tomorrow, doubt I'll run the trophy though. Might need my van/trailer if my mate runs his sc 106 for 2 days in a row! Was taking it easy today to save his gearbox, think he did abest of 13.2 but says he wasn't happy with that!
Russ
Thanks for the tips Ben. Going to see at least one trophy tomorrow, maybe 2, hopefully see you guys at dfs on sunday, piers will text you either way.
Russ
