I was told in another thread, that the injectors and fuel pump were different, but can't find anything to back up the fuel pump.
Is the turbo different too then?
And yeah, remapping would be a must.
My Mk3's last tankful was just over 750 miles, and that was commuting to and from work and weekend driving for about 6 weeks. 63mpg.
Llandow, I got it down to 23.7mpg on track.

Nigel noticed the area under the scuttle panel was full of water whilst it was in there Friday.
So have taken the scuttle panel off and cleared the blockages on both drain tubes. it was flooded in there! thankfully nowhere near the electrics.
No problems dude. I changed mine for those ones I posted up, and they look good. Really good when it's darker out too. Lights up the inside of the car a treat.
The Glovebox and Boot lights are the same ones too.
I wouldn't even bother if you're only keeping it a year. It'll be wasted money. Unless it's stuff you can swap over to the new motor, and you keep the original parts.
Howzit. Over here you'd get a tug from the police, but not sure in Gauteng.
Interior lights are easy - they're 501 fitments like your sidelights. I got some LED ones off eBay. Like this...
Not so bad today. First part of the journey was fine, but some squealing at the end. Bit wetter here today.
Will see what they're like after Llandow next weekend!
My brakes are squealing like a b**ch at present, and have done since about the beginning of June.
Plenty of meat left on them. Brembo Discs up front with Feredo pads.
It's been washed several times so I doubt it's brake dust. It's also a bit sporadic in when it does it. Stops fine, no...
Dude, I wanna see this in the flesh!
Where did you call round here?
After Tony's advice I got Nigel at Automax to do my Clio. I provided the bits too. Might be worth a shout.
A mate's Turbo 'Busa on the dyno with a stupidly cut down exhaust. With ear plugs in, it was still loud and the whole place shook.
The place in question also now has to run their dyno runs with the shutter down due to noise complaints.
No, they're just a bush basically, and the rubber part is doing all the work.
The sleeve just slips over the top of the rear shock as a guide.
Have a search on here, but I think it's another 1 or 2mm as to what it is now.
Thanks guys.
Cub: Won't know till I've won the auction - or IF, I win it.
His eBay profile has an office address, which is here: BS15 4LS
