MK3 owners - squealing brakes?

My brakes are squealing like a b**ch at present, and have done since about the beginning of June.

Plenty of meat left on them. Brembo Discs up front with Feredo pads.

It's been washed several times so I doubt it's brake dust. It's also a bit sporadic in when it does it. Stops fine, no juddering. Just squeals!

We've had a very hot few weeks/months. It will probably dust build up.

If your bothered about the squeal, strip and a quick clean behind the pads.

MY brakes on my mk2 have been squealing for months. Last weekend I stripped them down, cleaned off all the dust and regreased the back of the pads. Job done!

My 09 Clio has the same prob I've been told they need bleeding my discs and pads are fine

Not so bad today. First part of the journey was fine, but some squealing at the end. Bit wetter here today.

Will see what they're like after Llandow next weekend!

Mine were pretty bad last month, gave them a strip down, clean and lube and they are all good now.

When you say strip down and lube, was that copper-slip on the back of the pads, or a caliper strip down?

use ceramic grease......copperbased grease isa big nono around cars with abs/esp etc
