Does the red immobiliser light stays on constant and when you try and fire the car it makes a clicking noise? I had this and had to get a new key from renault. Tried your spare key or changing key fob battery?

K mate ta, was searching local motor factors sites to see if any sell mintex 1144 over the counter and came across these. Like you say these would be OE spec and not an upgrade like i am after. G

Alright, another thumbs up for RS Murray in Leeds. Had 4 services there, including cam/aux belts, they know what there doing
