Dreadful work that. Hate these garages that do stuff without consulting the client, especially something as permanent as welding. How these people make a living from it being so unprofessional I'll never know.
Another update.
With the trackday on 23rd August booked, it was time to do a few bits to make sure the car was ready. Mostly in the brake area.
Brake Callipers rebuilt with Bigg Red Seal kit, painted with high temp silver Aluminium paint
Motul RBF 660 brake fluid added
Brake ducting added...
Love Harris for this reason. He'd be excused for being a snob with the level of stuff he does, but still loves (and buys with his own money!) stuff like this. Legend!
Must have been all that face bending torque from your Volvo
Fair enough, I managed to keep it on the black stuff or out for 2 years every day with them on without fault anyway.
I've used them on track in the pouring rain too and didn't have a particular issue. But that's just my...
Used to be 180 when I had them, but they've put them up to 200 now. But yeah not as low as trackday tyres, still definitely a fast road/track tyre really.

This is the fitting kit: http://www.renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/product/renault-clio-172182-exhaust-fitting-kit-front-to-manifold/
Yep as Bloke says, sounds like the exiter wire on the starter. Had murder with mine before I changed my starter motor to a Bosch one where the design of the spade connector means the connector can't move under vibration.
Cheers mate, I think it may just be a case of buying all of them when some come up anyway really since they're always sold as a complete set of pipes, so I've pretty much answered my own question there haha!
My air con hasn't worked since I got the car, and when it went in for some work at a specialist at the start of the year he mentioned one of the air con pipes being snapped. Thought I'd look into it at some later date, had bigger fish to fry with the car at that point.
A few months back I went...
