You can't make a performance car purchase just based off logic and facts, you have to actually want it too. Hence why some people buy Porsche 911's for the heritage and suchlike over Nissan GTRs even though the Nissan is cheaper and faster using your logic.

Hyundai is a proper pikey pensioner car brand. No heritage in performance etc which is something I'd like in a car I actually want to own, would be great for a quick daily or something though.

110k now, used daily (well, when I need to). I don't really pay much attention to milage anyway, it's got that many new/changed bits on it I don't see how it's even relevant other than as an indicator of how much I drive.

If your coilovers have caster adjustment (adjustable top mounts etc), and you have a lot of caster, that would make the steering heavier because caster creates a lot of align torque, which is the wheel trying to straighten. I've gone for Purple series for everything. I'm very much going for a fast road/track setup though.

Full rear coilovers makes no difference apart from if you want siiiiiiiiiiiiiiick lows on the back end.
