Ahh right. Might have a look at that then. The steering wheel has never been straight but I've put it down to tracking in the past so maybe it could be the angle sensor?
Ahh right. I've had an ABS sensor go on my old car with similar symptoms.
You around tomorrow at all? Going to Liverpool so I could nip across the water quickly if you were. No worries if not, think I know another guy who had it at one point so I'll see if he still does.
Got my ESP light on constantly from when I start the car. My Serv light doesn't work, it doesn't light up when I turn the ignition on so I'm assuming it doesn't, but if it did I'm guessing it would be on now along with the ESP light because they're a common combo.
Searched on here and checked...
I'm in more discomfort in traffic with the heavy clutch and manual box than I am a bit of vibration, but I don't see anyone getting rid of the manual box?
Either way though, horses for courses!
Thing is though, those trying to run a Clio as a comfortable daily you're barking up the wrong tree. They're always unrefined, may as well be #Racekor.
If the mount is knackered it won't help. But on a good mount it makes a good difference! Got it on mine and my dogbone is already powerflexed and a new gearbox side engine mount, and this made a big difference to on and off the throttle movement. Well worth the money I'd say. Looks quite good in...
I appreciate there are thousands of threads on this, but I'm looking to cut through all the crap and confusing technical jargon for a quick answer on this. I'm not read up on the car audio side of things.
The standard Cabasse Stereo that came out was update list, I've had my Alpine UTE-72BT in...
Yeah there was a lot of steering with the throttle to get the nose in etc. As you can see not much traction out of the bends too. I'll pick two good used ones up before the next day.
Not half. The ones I used on the front aren't too bad for going on the rear. Will probably pick up two decent second hand ones for next time.
Christ haha! Yeah that stuff is great, could probably have done with some on these really.
Always next time mate! Yeah definitely, will massively aid...
Yeah sure mate, will sort it out later. Think your R888s were in better nick than ours too, you can see in the video we take the same line through shell for example and I'm scrambling for traction and you're off haha. Think I'll be looking for some new ones before the next one after seeing the...
Monday was the day of the afternoon track sessions at Oulton Park. First track day for the car in my ownership, so I was using this cheap track time as a test to see how the car would hold up, and it couldn't have gone better really! My first time on track in a while, probably 18 months or so...
Diff. Without question.
@JamesBryan just had one put in his and the difference is incredible. All the traction you ever need for mid corner grip and getting a lot of exit speed.
Definitely go on track. You'll realise how much better it is than your previous cars once it's on the ragged edge on track.
Then again it depends what you look for in your cars.
Yeah it's typically the compression that does it, Flickr used to be really good quality wise, something like Facebook compresses images massively so you always get shite quality on there. Looks like they might have changed how much they compress maybe?
