Another big thing not mentioned, is keep some throttle on in the bends, even a little bit just so the car is balanced. The amount of people who lift off the throttle completely and then wonder why they end up facing the opposite way is unreal. Also, if the back and does go, give it throttle not...

I personally prefer the 182s. I think the Mk2's are more exiting; more fun at lower speeds, they feel over engined and opposed to under engined in the Mk3. It all depends what you want from your car though really.

I've done this in the past when mine gave up the ghost. Absolute ball ache if you accidentally stall somewhere. Any idea what's up with it? I'm an expert on this after the on going saga I had with mine before I had it replaced with the proper part by someone that know what they're doing haha.

Sounds good! I'll be getting the top mounts and a Whiteline RARB so should be a similar-ish setup. I've only driven my brother's old phase 1 with coilovers in anger, that was on some prototype coilovers derived from KWs. So it will be interesting to compare!
