It all depends on how far you want "track" to go in terms of parts.
The better of the track Clios will be close to about 10k and be an ex cup racer with refreshed setup and maybe some throttle bodies on the engine to aid to the cause.

As for a mk3 doesn't it have a weird bit in the middle like a peak where 2 flat points meet in the middle?

Joined originally (as fastdanbar lol) in 2008 and realised a rusty 1.9D mk1 Clio didn't cut it lol
So then I went quiet for a while and came back in 2010 after I bought the blue bus.
And then me and missus added the everyday bus because the 182 became too track orientated for her liking lol
I think the bearings have gone in mine, it's making a low tone whine on idle and the my AC delete belt slipped a bit on startup so it's a bit less free moving than before. I'm just gonna put it back in the garage for a bit and collect up the parts needed over the next week or so as mines a 2nd...
Hmm they also wanted hot half naked women wearing sexually modified nurses outfits serving cold beers.............
I'm sure CS towers could spare some of them from their normal waitressing duties for next year.
