Yeah, i could tell it had literally just happened as it was dripping everywhere whilst it was jacked up on the M.O.T ramp.

In for an M.O.T today @ Renault Trowbridge. All going well until the n/s/r shocker decided to spring a leak :( no advisories though 👍 Ive ordered 2x genuine shocks.

Will be staying as factory as possible, no mods apart from lowering springs. 👍

2nd time I’ve driven it today since I got it. Drives really nice, feels tight, no strange noises and I haven’t even heard any rattles from the interior which is strange for a Clio 2!!!

Center caps fitted, all wheels rebalanced, previous sticky weights removed and the insides all cleaned out.

Couple of jobs today, oil change, re balance the wheels and investigate air con inop. Recovered 340g refrigerant from the a/c system, vacuumed and refilled to the correct amount 660g +/- 35g. Air con now working lovely.

On the road for 24 hours? what happened? Yeah really enjoying this one, couldn't have asked for a better base to work with.

Whats the registration? I can check for you if its ever had a belt done at a Renault dealer.

So. I managed to track down some service history for the Clio after finding where it had been MOT’d for parts of its life. Sutton Park Renault came back to me with the service history they have for the Clio.

That’s been for sale for about a year now, lovely pictures for the advert, shame they haven’t bothered to align the back box at that money.

Yeah ill check them once a year i think, before spraying the Wax Oil i put some wire through the holes to prevent me blocking them up, ill remove the wire later so the drains are clear.

So I’ve spent a lot of time on the inner sills since I got the car, treating the rust etc. Finally finished them tonight with wax oil, was hoping for a nice neat spray coverage but it came out a bit lumpy. Oh well it’s all done now and you won’t see it all behind the panels.
