In for an M.O.T today @ Renault Trowbridge. All going well until the n/s/r shocker decided to spring a leak :(
no advisories though 👍
Ive ordered 2x genuine shocks.
2nd time I’ve driven it today since I got it.
Drives really nice, feels tight, no strange noises and I haven’t even heard any rattles from the interior which is strange for a Clio 2!!!
Couple of jobs today, oil change, re balance the wheels and investigate air con inop.
Recovered 340g refrigerant from the a/c system, vacuumed and refilled to the correct amount 660g +/- 35g.
Air con now working lovely.
So. I managed to track down some service history for the Clio after finding where it had been MOT’d for parts of its life.
Sutton Park Renault came back to me with the service history they have for the Clio.
Not much going on lately, removed the stickers from the rear window.
does anyone remember JAMJAR 🤣 I’m pretty confident they were the ones who supplied the car from new, has the jamjar plates too.
before
Much better
Yeah ill check them once a year i think, before spraying the Wax Oil i put some wire through the holes to prevent me blocking them up, ill remove the wire later so the drains are clear.
So I’ve spent a lot of time on the inner sills since I got the car, treating the rust etc.
Finally finished them tonight with wax oil, was hoping for a nice neat spray coverage but it came out a bit lumpy.
Oh well it’s all done now and you won’t see it all behind the panels.
