IQ from the 350D to 450D even 30D and 40D is very similar.
The main difference between the 350D and 400D is the larger screen and improved 9-point AF system used in the 30D.
thanks, Ideally I'll catch one head on, its just so hard with tubes, that one was at f/18 and about an inch from the lens..
Helps when the buggers sit still :clown:
The 50 is great for the price, although I've since shifted mine you'd be foolish not to try some fast glass being so cheap.
As for 10-22shots, look no further than...

I'll try and host some of mine I shot today in a few hours...
This is maybe a bit deep and too much info but have a read.

You'll be best of looking at entry level DSLR's like:
Canon - 350D, 400D, 450D
Nikon - D40, D60, D70s and D80
Google dpreview, it has lots of good reviews...
P mode, its like an auto that you pick a few features on, you decide the ISO, flash up/down, metering and focus points.
There's also a few modes with little pictures on but err forget what they are prob the same as any point and shoot...
Nice pics, had a similar issues with my mates black dog, best thing you can do in CS3 is to use the Shadow/Highlight tool, think this video covers it...

Good pics. Think I need to pay a visit!
Now it could be the jpg compression but some seem a little soft, does seem your shutter speeds were a little slow for the focal lengths used, try and get 1/400 shooting at 200mm to remove hand shake...
In that case, I'd personally save for the Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 or Sigma 18-50 f/2.8

You'll be able to get 3x more light over the kit lens at the long end.. they will also be a little sharper and imagine the AF abilities to be a little better and build.
There...
Partial is where a camera takes a reading for a small portion in the middle of the images, the bright gas and dark surroundings may be confusing the meter.

EXIF is the image data, all the settings like shutter speed, aperture & ISO etc..
A good series of nice clean shots, mono-pod helping a lot?
My only critique would be to get risky with the shutter speeds, experiment a little and see how slow you can go..
Thanks!!
If you go to the images on flikr you can see the individual data by clicking 'More Properties'.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/pete-eos/2245586450/
Shot them all in RAW format using M mode, most were roughly:
Exposure: 0.3 sec (3/10)
Aperture: f/16
Focal Length: 10 mm
Rig:
350D...
There smaller than most high end DSLR's but if you've got small hands there great.
Love using my 350D, have had a play with a 400D and seems equally as good. It has plenty of 'dummy' modes from green box to sport/macro and also P which is fairly auto with a few user options, so yeah should be...
