J's auto electrical in Bristol. Been using him for about 10 years.

hazards flash if window switch held up

That's a UCH fault for sure. ^^ I got mine repaired, cost me £45 all in. (£25 for a used UCH, £20 for an auto electrician to swap the damaged part over with some epic soldering skills)

I read that as £190, plus the £100 as a deposit.

    New car - Jaguar F-type V8

I love F-types! Sadly I don't like red. Or convertibles. Or those wheels. But I do like Jag F-Types.

Friends old Liquid Yellow phase 2 - how rare?

If it was a disabled driver, I can't imagine lower and stiffer suspension was a concern of theirs.

Friends old Liquid Yellow phase 2 - how rare?

    It was in Freds report.

Friends old Liquid Yellow phase 2 - how rare?

If that is indeed VO54FFS, it's got the wrong engine in it. And under the dash has been chopped about to accommodate disability controls. Wish your friend luck from all at CS.net.

My Clio RS200 Cup (and my old 182)

Mine was GU60UBW. I bloody loved that car.

My Clio RS200 Cup (and my old 182)

Aha, so you have a Clio 200 with cup pack. (Red calipers, better suspension and iirc, a quicker steering rack) Much better to have that than a proper Cup with no creature comforts.

My Clio RS200 Cup (and my old 182)

Is it an actual 200 cup or a 200 with cup pack? (Apologies if that sounds patronising) Cups have manual mirrors, no 60/40 split rear seat, black plastic side strips and mirrors. Air con was also an option.

My Clio RS200 Cup (and my old 182)

Looks to have been modded, gloss black mirrors and colour coded side strips? Lovely either way. I had a storm grey cup in 2010.

    Car SOS curious cambelt change...

That's all well and good but considering most belt failures are due to the tensioners seizing, it's a pretty pointless effort.

What is this light on the dash??

On a V6 I'd take a bet that a coil is about to s**t itself.

Clio Trophy - Sell or break for parts ?

My mates dad (who came and bought your ramp) said back in the day, he was buying mk1/mk2 escorts for £80-100 and selling them on for £250-300. And lots of them. Said it's his biggest regret not keeping any of them.

    Farcela G3 Clay mitt

We use autosmart clay cloths at work. New Gen BMW paint is ludicrously soft and these mits don't leave marring.

Depends what diagnostic equipment they have and how good they are at using it! Lol

Clio 182 limp mode squiggly dash line high idle

Throttle bodies are £30 ish second hand and pedals are under £20. Certainly not the end if the world but as I said, I'd get it properly diagnosed before you fork out any money.

Clio 182 limp mode squiggly dash line high idle

Sounds like a naff throttle position sensor. If you live near anyone with Clip though, get it plugged in before you spend any money though.

    Dream Car E46 M3

I had one and it lasted about 4 days. Great cars but you have to be doing stupid speeds to really enjoy it. And I quite like my license.
