My dad got one of these today, but it doesn't seem right to me. It came apparently dead, so stuck the charger in and it displayed a greyed out battery with half a circle in the middle. After removing and reinserting the battery it started charging, but only slowly. It got up to about 7%...

Passed its MOT today :D I think I've decided to sell it though, the Trophy is a better car, and the extra I'd make keeping the cup simply isn't worth it to me.

It's also worth taking what you have apart and cleaning the connections up. That's what was wrong with mine.

The Millteks aren't that bad imo, mine is 2 years/10k miles old and is still sitting fine, hasn't ruined a mount and hasn't cracked! I like the Ktec ultra performance as an alternative or if you want a quiet system the Ktec/Janspeed silenced version looks good and has a lovely subtle tone to it.

That budget should fetch you the best cup on the market, or buy my higher mileage one for half the price when it goes up for sale next week ;)

Did you pick the unibody one? Seems a tad low, it valued mine which is only a few months newer at £960 which I think is about right.
