I have a Haida one, it’s good, well priced too although I got mine second hand. I used it for stuff like this -

I've used it for a while, the standard of the work on there is amazing. Just a shame the photos on there look softer than they actually are. I prefer the look of my photos of Flickr than on 500px, but non the less- http://500px.com/niall97

Looking good. I prefer the white wheels also.
Hopefully I can make it to Oulton and go out on track in it again, it wasn’t slow last time so on R888’s it’ll be awesome.
My photos aren’t on Flickr yet, but they are on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1470359839843758.1073741850.1414689702077439&type=1
I've heard that the 24-105 is sharper than my 24-70, but in practise they're both sharp I can tell you that having used both on the 5D2. Primes will be better of course. The one difference between the 24-105 and the 24-70 is the distortion, the 24-105 distorts quite badly at the wide end, where...
Thanks guys, it means a lot. I'm gutted that I don't live near London, it's just so broad; you could find a new place, or multiple photo oportunities on every visit.
The WB is intentional, I thought it looked better, but ah well. Yeah I did quite a bit of travelling, the photos don’t show half of it!
You can download the full res on Flickr, failing that I’ll email it to you.
On saturday I went down to London again for a day, and to take some photos along the way. So here they are, there are a few so I put them in a thread of their own rather than hog the “I’ve taken a picture and I kinda like it” thread. They cover some fairly generic viewpoints, but I wanted to...
It’s supposed to be an awesome lens, I’ll look forward to seeing the results!
I’m still surprised that Canon haven’t made a rival for it, but it could be argued that the 16-35mm F2.8L is more than adequate.
They’re different photographers though really, Alex’s work is more candid as you say, where as Williams is doing more photoshoot based stuff. I can appreciate both in equal measure really. I’d say that Dean Smith from EVO is my favourite automotive photographer overall, his work is amazing...
