Whoever it was was giving that thing some serious stick on the Summerfields Roundabout!
It looked epic with the arse end out and the loud pedal planted as you were flying around that roundabout!
Whomever it might be... needs a ✋?
It looked like so much fun!
I wanted to get a cage next (as part of the group buy) but I’ve been putting off my deposit partially because coilovers SHOULD be my next step.
I’ve got the springs here, so I’ll put them on, but I may end up selling them over the winter for the purchase of coilovers ??
It’s an out and out...
Well @renaultpartsdirect need to send me a posted price for the set then ??
Looks like I’ll be getting in touch with them shortly to get these fitted with the PMS top mounts ?
No idea what the fronts are like but what would they set me back?
I reckon the current ones are the ones from factory, so yeah, they’re getting on a bit...
I would skip the middle man, but I think I’ll have them for a little while, plus the cost of coilovers right now isn’t really ideal in...
Afternoon all...
I’ll be swapping out the standard springs on my 172 for a set of Cooksports.
My question to you lovely lot is...
1) should I replace the rear shocks when I put the Cooksport springs on?
1a) if yes - should I replace with standard replacements or cup shocks?
My car is for...
I recently bought a crash helmet in Halfords, I used my trade card and got serious discount on it.
It fits well, and has all relevant stamps and safety stuff so went with it, however, if I were to go racing it would need to be changed but that’s an intention I have for later down the line
I’m pretty sure I’ve just wat he’d 40 minutes of a Clio going around a track!
That’s the best 40 minutes of my day so far!
That noise!!! Oh how I wish mine sounded that aggressive!
After reading a few of the reviews on this £10 rechargeable Unit, I put an offer in...
Yes it’s a cheap item and probably coming from China, but as an inspection light, I’m hoping it’ll get into the tight places.
I’ll be buying an LED light from screwfix later and then I’ll be looking to...
I’ll be purchasing 6 or so LED lighting strips for the ceiling as I’ve got quite a large space and id need 12 of those above
I shall purchase one of these for the work under the car then ??
Thanks gents
Has anyone got one of these, or similar for working under their car?

I’ll be putting new lighting into the unit later in the year, but I do need a handheld/magnetic led unit for the inspection stuff.
Well I shall keep an eye on it as it’s got the potential to a great thread.
Attention to detail on a car like this is fantastic, the geezer that did the torquing of the bolts and put the lines across is the type of thing I love to see!
I’ll be back to see the future stuff ???
Whts the update on this today?
Has he disappeared off the face of the earth? No longer getting back to you?
Hope you weren't trusting and let him go without exchanging details!
Hi guys.
I’m looking for a good workshop light that I can use everywhere. Something bright, and gives a good amount of light.
Uses... under the car, engine bay, interior etc.
Perks... maybe magnetic, battery pack rechargeable etc.
What do you recommend?
What do you use?
I found the adhesive on the roof to be a lot thicker than anywhere else, I guess this is because the roof is/would have been quite a flimsy piece of metal without it.
I then moved onto the interior
Firstly, I removed the clocks and the heater control panel
I then moved onto the steering wheel removal
Squib and all othe accessories removed from the steering column.
The only thing holding the steering rack in place, is the locking pin on the exterior of...
There’s more!!!
Well I went to the unit today with a clear head and went straight to the Coolsnt pipes... gave them a good wiggle and some help from a flat head screwdriver pushing the tabs, they both popped straight off ??
So put some rag into the pipes and started on the scuttle panel...
Hi guys...
I’m doing an AC Delete and I’m also in the process of swapping my heater to a Race heater for windscreen demisting only.
Whilst I’m removing the heater matrix and pipe work I’m renewing my pipe work for silicone and more to the point, the radiator.
So...
1) Do I just buy a standard...
Good evening all
I popped down to the unit this afternoon to pick up my standard wheels as I’d sold them on eBay.
I had no intention of getting dirty but I just couldn’t help myself ?
So I told SWMBO that I’d be home by 17:30 as I’d just got stuck in...
So, started like this...
Then I...
