Re: My 172 Cup (T5MY G) 191.2 Bhp & 173.4 Torque
Great project
What was the weight saving of the dash and contents alone? This is next on my to do list.
Is your airbag light on, are you keeping it on or you getting it programmed out?
Get some ear plugs for the drive to ring and Spa ;) lol my head was ringing 5 hours later esp with poly widows and no radio to listen too haha
Lovely looking car, Did Mark do geometry set up and corner waiting? I recently used his set up at Spa and was amazed... Like driving a totally different...

Namakubi Clio 172 Cup "track project"
No mate, car been off road since October...its been living in the garage since. Need to get some realistic (cheap) quotes to replace the piston rings. I aim to get the car back on the road for April.
Looking good fella, will be interested how you fix the bonnet and tail gate, I have mine on order from Hal too. (btw did you go for poly rear window?).
Interesting thread, soz for the thread jack, My 172 cup consumed 4ltrs of oil in 300 miles. Few guys pointed at the piston rings being worn, as oil was being blown out of the crack case breather and into the catch tank. Would this happen if its the stem seals?
Could be wrong, but think its the power steering connector switch. The bottom part (not shown) tends to crack and brake. I purchased a new one on ebay just recently.
Sounds good Pete, did not manage ti get down due to other commitment.
Catford!! Im only in Bromley and had spare HT leads could have had mine... Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Im building up a spare box to inc plugs, coil pack, leads, injectors etc etc as replacements if anything goes...
