Dci offcie the forum used to have the guide otherwise I've got it somewhere at work on what to do to fit a 80 one to a 65 car.
fitment is just to copy the 80hp setup its easy enough.
the best one of the two (80 and 100) type is the 100 one as its more efficient otherwsie a better ifdea...
The rear axle wil eyp just fit chnage the handbrakes cable as well.
the abs is the issue as Giles discovered his options are the the same
1) get new abs rings made up with the same number of teeth as the drums had (any enginnering place cold do it)

Be careful fiddling about yu might fine you drop the wsher in the tank in when pushing the water pump back in.
As for the connections you can just wire them up I've got an astra pump on mine at the moment it just need some wire throwing down the renault plugs and onto the other type
you need a puller to get the wipers off or a lot of force.
Could be faulty pump more likly IMo fautly wiring.
pump has two wires to it and two pipe one for front one for rear.
the electricity runs one wasy though the pump and the pump runs one and runs the other wsy to supply the other...
172 and 182's arn't type approved
they can fit the 172 easy enough since its the same shell as a 1.2 etc. 182 requires a certain type of bar or a one off depends where you go and speak to.
Neither 172 or 182 can legallt tow there not type approved.
Not type approved renault didn't want...
You can buy on there own dealers usualy have difficult finiding them plus when they have targets why search for a cheap part when a new driveshaft is easier to find and easier to sell and fit.
