A high 8!
It was a good car. Mechanically sound barring a few small (and I mean small) issues. Was a quickie too. Had a load of nice bits on there and was a great car to own. I miss it more than the ph1, and also felt more connected to it than the ph1.
When I post pics of it, it really makes...
I ran the wilwoods kit on my old BG with 2118's. If I remember correctly, it was a pagid disc and was the same center bore as standard. I really liked the kit and thought it worked well. I had earls braided lines and ds2500. I "think" the kit was £700 from Jamsport but I can't fully remember.
When you mentioned about eml I though lambda, but unsure if a lambda would cause this issue?
I think a day off work would be wise as time is getting closer to the track day!
2 birds, 1 stone then really. (Regarding the trip/meal/work)
It just looked like there would be a bit of stress on the wheel bolts as the lip on the hub looked minimal with the spacers on. Tested on a private airfield? ;)
Any pics of the new wheels? Or you updating your other thread with them on?
That's some dedication to drive 250 miles for the work. Where did you go? Area, I mean.
There's not a lot of lip on those spacers, is that safe?
Car does look great though. Loved your last one, but this looks better.
Did a few more things on the Volvo. When I changed the shocks and springs I noticed the top mounts were knackered. Unfortunately I didn't have new ones to fit so I re-used the old ones but ordered new ones promptly. I also ordered new top mount covers for peace of mind as I didn't want to remove...
Pretty sure you have to take a test now if you got your license after a certain date? Circa 1999 I think?
I could be wrong as its only something a vaguely remember hearing once.
