Im gonna buck the trend here and say that, once the pics are up with the Turinis, it will go. Id bet £50 it will go at that price too.
It will get tucked away in some collectors garage only to see day light a few times a year no doubt :(
Dodo Juice Born to be Mild is my go to currently. As good as Carpro reset but less 'harsh' supposidly. Im a pure shampoo guy so really only try them.
MadCow shampoo is on the shelf ready to be given a go (expected to be renegaded to wheel shampoo) and CarChem 1900:1 & Super Suds on order in...
Thats totally fair. I dont have high hopes tbh and the 5L of shampoo will just go to wheel shampoo. Might even use the QD as a wheel topper. Just renegate the whole lot to wheels 🤣.
The foam on si02 might be ok for winter as a top up though. Not found a bad one of them yet....he says before...
Anyone tried the MadCow stuff plastered all over FB?
Ordered their £25 deal which is 5L Shampoo, QD, Spray Sealant and 1L Fallout remover. Not holding much hope being so cheap but be good to see if anyones tried it
Just FYI lads, CarChem are doing 5x 100ml sample bottles for £10 plus P&P. £13 delivered. Bargain if you wanna give them a try. Got myself some snow foam, water spot remover, 1900:1 super suds, 1900:1 standard and interior smell remover thingy
Honestly speaking, dont bother. Glass polsihing is an absolute nightmare. Its about the only thing I wouldnt attempt detailing wise and ive given most things a go. If it really bothers you and you have windscreen cover, you may have to have an 'accident'.....
It should be for the £40 or whatever it is. Wide neck is a great idea too.
TBH, I always give the bottle a quick rinse out before putting in Polar Seal. Even then, it sometimes squirts (lol) some foam out and then Polar Seal but its never caused me any issues.
I tend to have 2 foam guns now...
Yes and No. Reset is a shampoo designed to 'refresh' ceramic coatings although I have used it on non-coated cars and its brilliant. Can even shoot it out of a foam gun which makes for far less chilly hands in the winter!
Reset, in really high concentrations can be used as a kind of strip wash...
Yep, Ive heard of them. Keep seeing them advertised. Dont think theyre too bad by all accounts but dont see much about them. Have a search on Detailingworld and that might give you a bit more info :)
Ive got a monumentally large tub of Harleys Wax that i think i bought of @imprezaworks
Best wax ive ever used in terms of application and removal. Looks are very glossy as I think its a high carnuba based wax but durability is a bit meh which is to be expected
Entirely your call, dont take the opinion of 1 person on the internet as gospel. Im only reporting what I found on one particular LSP. You've also got to bear in mind that I had many other LSP's on my car and pretty much all of them resisted BH AF pretty well!
I should also have added that my...
This is a really hotly debated topic on Detailingworld. Hear different things one day and other reports another day.
Used Autofoam for probably about 2 years now and im half way through my 2nd 5L bottle of it. Was all dandy and I found it to be really really good at removing dirt initially...
Looks mint!
Ive got half a bottle of the Ceramic Version and the slickness is off the charts. Beading is top tier too. Doesnt quite give the depth of colour like my Polish Angel stuff but incredible for the price.
Think someone mentioned it earlier too but you can pick up some bargains on the...
What James said!
Had a couple of nightmares with changing pads on Clios. Pistons stuck out is the worst one. A G Clamp is good but a proper winder piston tool from halfords (circa 15 quid) is defo worth having as you can get a socket on the winding bit.
Also, dont do what I did which is...
I expect nothing less! Any reasonable person cant expect to have a non-OEM tune done and then for BMW to pick up the pieces if it goes bang? For all you know your 'map' could have been written by a 6 year old in his mums basement....
I think it might have been you that posted on the FB forum. Hope you got it sorted. I had this and it was where I had done a service and not tightened down the plenum properly. Air was squeezing in through the gaps and made the most horrendous screeching noise.
On the topic of microfibres and washing them. Also caught the Mrs cleaning mine (how very dare she) but used softener. They were crap as expected but theyve improved. A couple of drying towels didnt get the softener treatment but even when washing with chemical guys microfibre wash, they arent...
